Auto Glass Pro Ripping off Insurance Companies and Seniors in Frisco Texas Frisco Texas

It's hard to believe that there are still companies who use deceptive practices to rip off seniors and insurance companies. I had Auto Glass Pro replace my winshield under an insurance claim and was shocked when they handed me a compleation order for over $1,700. The installer said not to wory about the price and that the insurance company, USAA, would pay everything over my $200.00 deductable. USAA sent me a check for $11,000 and I wrote a check to Auto Glass Repair for the same amount.

I checked with 3 other auto glass replacment companies, including the Marcedes Benz dealer and their price for the same service ranged from $700.00 to $1,100. That's $700-$1,000 less than Auto Glass Pro's gouging charge. Make no mistake: Overcharges to insurance companies will be passed on to consumers in the form of higher auto insurance premiums.

Today I recieved a certified letter from Jim Carroll, Business Manager at AUTO GLASS PROS, thretening to take civil action and I quoat from his demand notice,"If we are not contacted about payment within 10 business days from the date of this letterwe will have to persue other legal options available to us including, but not limited to, court costs, reasonable and nessary attourneys fees, and or repossission of your vehicle to satisfy this debt." 

The amount in despute is $660.45 and that amount is less than their rediculous overcharge.
