I bought 2-yr coverage 07/2009 and now in need of costly covered repairs and they went out of business approx 06/2011.

There is a company that responds when you go on-line to old web-site and get phone number, but they just say they only bought on-line site and cannot help persons who were left out in the cold.

The Co. should have given a warning they were shutting down. I pd. $445 for AC repairs last month and now have to spend $700+ for mainifold intake gasket set.

May have recourse

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

Depending on state or Federal laws, you may have recourse, if such warranty companies were required to insure their obligations through a re-insurer, who would then be responsible for claims made on them. Who did you purchase the policy from? If a dealer, maybe they have info that can help. Contact your state consumer or insurance oversight agencies.
