I agreed to pay $199 for a full detail and advertising service, including an online ad. My vehicle was clearly never detailed. It took them over 2 months to list my vehicle online. When they final did list it, the ad was very low quality. They overpriced the vehicle so that it had no chance of selling. Also, they damaged my vehicle while it was on their lot. I know the damage occured while it was on their lot even though they said it was like that when I dropped it off. I took pictures of my vehicle before I dropped it off and the pictures showed that the damage was not there before. Moreover, I had owned the vehicle for 6 years prior to trying to sell it and I knew every inch of the body.

I picked up my vehicle from their lot after it had been sitting there a little over 2 months. They said they only showed it once or twice but they had put over 120 miles on it. I know because I reset the trip odometer before I dropped it off. I asked for my $199 back. At first Ken said he would give me $100 but that his employee Jack had to pay it out of pocket. Jack said he would only give me $50 back. It has been almost a month and I have yet to receive $.01 from them. All I want is my $199 back. I'm not even trying to get money for the damage that occured while my vehicle was under their care.

Stay away from these crooks. No matter how big of a pain you think it is to sell your car yourself, you're better off selling it to the lowest of the lowballers on craigslist than letting your car sit on Ken's lot for 1 second.

Brian, I too had an unpleasant experience with Ken. He refuses to honor our written agreement to refund half of my listing/detailing fee.
My vehicle was also damaged while in his possession, and I have seen no proof as to which location it was at when it was damaged. Funny thing is I left him the ONE key and the tailgate was locked, but the tailights were taken out of the truck without even scratching the paint.
He has been refusing to refund me anything for about 10 months now, and pretty much ignoring a BBB complaint, so I suggest you do the same thing I am about to do and take him to small claims court.
Good Luck
