Auto Trends Sold me a car with mech. problems, promised to fix it, lied about fixing it and then sent me a bill for nothing. Portsmouth New Hampshire

Purchased a vehicle with a valve problem. Dealer acknowleged problem at time of sale and promised to fix it so i completed purchase.

After several attempts to contact I finally got in touch with the dealer and he reluctantly took car. When I got the vehicle back it was in the same condition. So again I called and called and got in touch only to have the car returned, once again int he same condition.

He would clean the valves so it ran smoothly off the lot only to idle rough and stall again after a few miles of driving.

When I tried to rectify the problem dealer was outraged. He recognized the fact that it was a pre exisiting problem but said there was nothing i could do about it because there is no lemon law in NH.

He also informed me that he has done this hundreds of times before. Throught the whole painstaking process he was very rude and unproffesional. I do not have the money to sue him or to fix the car so I am still driving this car that probably is not very safe.
