I just purchased a 2006 Audi A8L and brought it immediatley to the local Audi dealer and found the car needs more than $4000 worth of work. A number of the items were clearly apparent within 24 hours of delivery and were obviously known by the dealer but not disclosed. The defects were in items which cannot be seen in photos--defective heat/ac module, defective tire pressure sensors, stuck switches, etc. Further I immediately contacted them by email and phone and now they have full payment they will not even return a call or email. BEWARE!

As a high volume online dealer we understand there are different levels of perception regarding taste, condition and quality. Because of this very reason, every single one of our vehicle descriptions on all sites state we encourage you to have your vehicle of interest inspected by a 3rd party technician and we will not be responsible for variances of opinions. As for the title, we include a 30 day tag with every purchase. It is law that we have 30 days to provide a title, not 2 weeks. As a high volume dealer our titles are dropped off every 2 weeks. We take one large batch, not one by one. We did speak to this individual and because the answers were not to their liking, we get this nice report.
Thank you kindly,
Auto World USA

" I just purchased a 2006 Audi A8L and brought it immediatley to the local Audi dealer and found the car needs more than $4000 worth of work. "
You've got it backwards. First you take it to the Audi dealer. Then, when he tells you it needs $4K in repairs, you don't buy it. Why is everyone so eager to have their vehicles inspected AFTER they've bought a load of trouble.
Since you didn't mention it, I'm guessing that you freely bought this used vehicle without a warranty, right? That would explain their lack of interest in fixing YOUR car.

So then...
You send your money off to somebody to buy a used car you've never seen, never inspected visually, never took on a test drive, never listened to the engine...never did anything. Now we're all supposed to feel sorry for you, right? Throw common sense out the window and wonder why you were defrauded. Incredible. Where do you people come up with this incredibly stupid idea? P. T. Barnum said, "A sucker is born every minute!" He said that many years ago. As we can see from your example, it is just as current today!
