I ordered a cat for my truck from Auto Parts Warehouse on 14 jan 07. My credit card was charged for the item on 15 jan 07. On 20 feb 07, I received the wrong product in the setup. They said I was responsible for return shipping even though it was their mistake. After their error they decided not to make any attempt to fullfill my order even though I still wanted what I ordered.

Instead, they informed me that it could take up to 6 weeks for the purchase price to be refunded back to my credit card. After 6 weeks I had not received my refund so I sent several email inquiries and called customer service. While apologetic, they seem incapable of simply giving me back my money so I can buy the cat converter from a competitor. As of 10 apr 07, I am still waiting for my money and I now feel like a victim of theft. In sum, my experience with Auto Parts Warehouse has been poor just look at what i found about them (((ROR redacted link)))

My Solution to the problem

AUTHOR: Jeff - (U.S.A.)

I also received the runaround from this company, however I did some internet research and was able to locate the name, address and telephone number for the owner CEO Richard Pine. Once I had this information I called customer service and told them that if I did not receive my refund immediately I would be contacting "d**k" Pine at his residence. Within 15 minutes I had an email from customer service stating my refund would be posted to my credit card within 24 hours, which is the only response I ever received from numerous calls. Well within 24 hours I had my refund and I will never do business with the company again.

US Auto - Autopartswarehouse.com - RIPOFF - STEALS MONEY

I used to work for US Auto Parts. The will not give you a refund unless you call at least 5 times and talk to someone. The will take your money even if they do not have part in stock. Then a machine will call you saying to call the company but not saying what it is about. It does this at least 3 different times. The count your purchase as profit for stock market purposes. I have heard on many occasions "if they really want their money they will call". The screw over customers and employees alike. Management is too busy sexually harassing women and the owners worried about getting their cars washed before running a legit business.
