The owner, Rima Braden, sold me a vehicle, promised to buy it back if he could not find a buyer but reneged. Then, he attempted to bilk me out of excessive, unapproved storage, maintenence fees and unauthorized modification to my vehicle while under consignment.
During the 10 months he had possession of my car, he jacked me around several times, telling me he had solid buyers with solid offers. When I accepted these offers, they mysteriously "disappeared." I eventually tired of these unethical games and complained to Braden who promised to buy it from me. After he reneged, I had finally had enough of his lies and demanded my car back.
Amazingly, he then asked me for $5000 for a new clutch that I had previously discussed with him, but declined in writing. Also, he then asked for $2500 as a 10-month storage fee! He would not release my car unless I paid a total of $7500 in fraudulent fees! I could not believe this scam-artist-used-car-salesman. All the time, he acts like he's your best friend while reaming you with his lies and fraud.
Beyond myself with disbelief, and with no desire to further negotiate rationally with such a pathological liar, I called the Honolulu Police Department to file a stolen vehicle report. They quickly demanded all documentation from Braden to verify my complaint and his fallacious claim for $7500.
After stalling for over an hour, Braden finally found a seller's agreement that I had signed and showed it to HPD. Nowhere on the document was there any proof that I was liable for his bogus $7500 in storage, maintenence or repairs as he claimed and the Police officers demanded full release of my vehicle to me. Thank you HPD!!!
Do not do business with this psychopathic liar and fraud. His other salesman has been brainwashed with a similar doublespeak technique that will cause you severe anguish, brain-damage and potential loss of money. You have been warned.

In regards to the aforementioned report, please know that Autosource has done what we can to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, we had to take legal action against the author and his fabricated allegations. Autosource has filed Internet Defamation reports to the appropriate Federal Agencies. I've bought 3 cars from this dealership and never had a problem.
I'll stick to only the facts. I deal with Rima Braden directly. I have never had any pressure to buy something. I always test drive the car. I can always have my own mechanic check it out before buying. He never takes my license and keeps it while negotiating a price. If I had concerns about anything he personally takes care of the issue(s).
I've had my attorney check his complaint records and have found more than a handful which is still far less than the big car dealerships in ther State of Hawaii.

It's been brought to my attention that the owner of Autosource and his staff have resorted to juvenile and retaliatory postings. However, he tellingly shows no concern to the severity of customer complaints. In fact, he apparently paid yelp.com to remove many complaints from Autosource victims.

Please note the forum feedback of many others who have appear to have been ripped off by the Reamer and Autosource. In fact, it boggles the mind how Autosource is notorious in Hawaii for selling lemons, cars with salvaged titles, and numerous other unethical practices that hurt consumers.
