Averitt Express, Inc. Damaged shipment, declined claim without any investigation Cookeville Tennessee

Hello, I used Averitt service to ship a Honda odyssey door shell to a customer. The door was damaged during transport. I contacted averitt to file a damage claim, I was told to fill up the form and send it by mail. after mailing the form I tried to contact the damage claim department but was told that I will be contacted if they need anything else. Few days later I received a letter stating that the claim was denied because the damage was concealed. They very much accused me of sending the part damaged in the first place instead of investigating and find out really how the damage happened. After I threatened them with going to court, they agreed to appeal and they asked for photos. I submitted photos for the door before sending, the shipment packaging, and the damage but they still rejected my appeal. This company does not take damage claims seriously and their practice is to reject any damage claims without any proper investigations or verifications just because they can. I do not think they compensate any one for damage no matter what, just because they can simply deny the claim without any consequences. I shipped few freight shipments with them during 2018 and only this one was damaged but I seen how their drivers are carless when it comes to loading the shipment, slamming it against the truck interior walls. I am not upset because I did not get compensated but due to the fact that Averitt is doing illegal practice by having a general hidden policy to deny any damage claims without Proper investigation with a good faith. Please help
