Avid Law Center failed to contact my lender after we entered into a contract for a Mortgage Loan Modification. Avid Law Center approached me and promised to get me a lower interest rate on my home mortgage if I would give them $4,500.00.

Three weeks after giving them the $1500.00 down payment they still had not contacted my lender. After many calls to Avid with no response, I contacted my lender and asked them to contact Avid Law Center. Avid requested another $1500.00 per the contract time frame. (they threatened to freeze my account if not paid)

After many more weeks of non-response from Avid I contacted them. Avid continued to be nonparticipant and my lender called and said they have not heard back from Avid. I called Avid on numerous occasions and at about 35 days from signing the contract & down payment , they informed me there was nothing they could do and that they were going to close my account .
