I TRIED WORKING FOR THIS SO CALLED AVID PROCESSING COMPANY AS AN APPOINTMENT SETTER AND BOY WAS DID I WASTE MY TIME! THEY GUARENTEED TOP PAY, BLAH BLAH. YOU CAN SET APPOINTMENTS AND NOT GET PAID FOR THEM MAKING EQUIVILENT TO A PRISON INMATE!!! (MAKING 50$ EVERY 2 WEEKS OR SO!!!!! WHAT IS THAT?? THEY WILL NEVER KEEP APPOINTMENT SETTERS WITH THEIR HARSH AND UNREALISTIC GOALS!THEY PAY THE SALES GUYS SO MUCH MONEY ITS RIDICULOUS BUT OF COURSE WE ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL......DO NOT HELP THEM MAKE MONEY AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT GET PAID!! THE SALESMEN ARE JOKES AND INCOMPETENT. THERE ARE WAY BETTER APPOINTMENT SETTER JOBS WHILE WORKING FROM HOME. THIS IS NOT ONE. YOU WILL BE SORRY. LET THE SALES PEOPLE AND THE HEAD PEOPLE DO THE DIRTY WORK. SCREW THEM!!

CONTRACT AGREEMENT NOT FULLY MET!!! Just the beginning!!!

My experience was good until they decided after paying me for 3 straight weeks of hard work that they were not going to pay me. We had an agreement for a 30 day trial of just 8.00 per hr that if I didn't get any appointments: It says that the company can change it's compensation at any time at the company's sole discretion. The key word is "change", but NOT pay anything at all. The list that I was given was 95% corporations and companies that didn't even take credit cards at all. The people I talked to just was not interested in credit cards. I worked very hard, and I even got them 5-6 potential business for 2014/2015. These are companies that will be out of their contracts at the given time and year. I cannot understand why they will not pay me now! They no that I was working and was told so by the telemarketing manager, John Wright. All I want is something fair and descent. I even saved a couple of chat sessions by John Wright whom I thought to be a really kind Christian man. I had to be out this week with my mom not feeling well and having had eye surgery a few weeks ago and I let John no this way ahead of time, which I believe that was why I didn't get paid. He said that he hadn't heard from me and some other excuses to try and justify why he wouldn't pay me, not because he couldn't. I worked for every hour that I put in and then some, it wasn't my fault that the people did not want to set an appointment, the list I was calling was not a very good one, period!!! All I want is 16 hrs of pay or something that is fair and reasonable for the time and efforts that I spent calling, follow up, data entry, etc.etc.... This is NOT over. I have been here before and it is NOT over. Be very, very careful when dealing with Independent companies, because they will do and treat you the way they want to!!!!!

To Clarify and Hopefully Resolve

It came to my attention today that one of our previous Independent Contractors has posted that we did not pay them.  First and foremost we have been in business with a telemarketing team for 22 years and have never seen any complaint like this before.  For many years, we had an "in-house" telemarketing team that set appointments for our sales staff to go visit merhants.  

Due to increased technology and demand from the available work force, we transitioned to work from home positions to fill our telemarketing needs.  Over the years, we have had many people come and go for differenct reasons but NEVER have I had anyone make claim to not being paid. This is purely a performance-based position and thus appointments must be "ran" to be payable.  Our CRM system tracks everyone's activities and clearly displays for each person in the organization exactly what they are owed.  

I can also attest to the fact that we have even paid remote telemarketers by the hour, by the dial and on closed sales.  We are very fleixble in finding an arrangement that incenivizes the best to be the best.  I have NUMBEROUS references of very happy employees and independent contractors that have worked with us for years.  We spend thousands of dollars every year trying to find taleneted telemarketing professionals and it makes zero sense that we would not pay one once we had found them.  

This leads me to the resolution portion of this discussion.  I have not heard from ANYONE that Avid owes them money and this posting is clearly anonymous which leads me to wonder if perhaps this is a bogus posts.  I will include me direct contact information so that you may reach me to see this resolved.  Further, if for any reason I find that we do owe you for your efforts, I will see that you are paid and that this site is updated accrodingly.
