I just got my class schedule for this "block of study towards my Bacheler's Degree in Business Management at the UOP Axia Colloge online E-campus. When searching for the link to login to start classes I came across this website's report about how they ripped off so many people. Then I went to the BBB website and found less than perfect reveiws of performance by the School and its Owner/operator/s.

Now when my enrollment counselor was describing the program to me it sounded Great! I was so excited and he told me that I would be able to pay for the tuition entirely with grants as long as I qualify for the full amount available,(which I do 100%). He also told me that I would be enrolled in 2 classes per block but only participate in 1 per week rotating back and forth between them for the length of the block. I was told that my tuition would be a considerable amount less than it is according to my financial aide counselor
who told me after I signed all of the forms online, what it would actually cost.
When I logged on to the site and into my classes I found out that I had to participate in both classes consecutively for the entire block, that the assignments, and check-ins, are spread out trhough the week so you don't even have an entire week to complete them more like a couple of days, and the administration requires you to participate for attendance which doesn't count towards your class credit but will prevent you from recieving any if you don't comply.

Just a little while ago I opened my mail from the Apollo Group regarding my loans which I did not want, and my grant disbsersment and the letter that they sent completely contradicts what my enrollment, finance, and academic counselors all told me.

I can't prove at this time that they have ripped me off or intend to do so but I am very skeptical of all of this suspicious and inconsistant behavior with everyone saying whatever I want to hear or something. I don't see that this will end with my getting a degree or any education. I do forsee another huge student loan that is going to screw up my credit with no compensation in the end.

Something else you might want to know is this is not the first place that has tried similar tactics. You would think that I would have seen it coming, but these people are very good at manipulation if they are guilty here.
I want to give them the benifit of the doubt, however I am getting very disappointed as the week unfolds. I also want to put out there that I am living below the poverty level according to CA state and Fedral statistics, I am a mother of two and my husband is in prison so I am on my own. He has made positive changes in himself since he went to jail and I wanted to do the same. I just want to work on bettering myself and our family to create a stable environment by improving my chance at getting a well paying job. I want my kids to have good examples. I guess I can't expect to get ahead if I am wasting my time and energy on false hopes and scams.

I just wanted to make a record somewhere about my concerns and suspisions in case the worst is true....They are scamming and taking advantage me and so many others. Also if any one has any more information about this it would sure help. I am not sure what I will do now. I am really screwed!!!
