I ordered a beautiful custom made leather jacket from this company a year ago, and I still have not had any resolution to my issue.
The jacket was $700.00 and was given to me for a Valentine's day present in 2011, I recieved it in March and it was about 4 inches too small to be done up, let me just state that I'm a size 0, and I also sew alot of clothes and know how to take measurements, I've made grad dresses, Halloween costumes, and jackets. This jacket arrived about 4 inches too small to be zipped up, it fit my shoulders perfectly but it would NOT zip up, not even CLOSE. It was a design flaw, so I returned my ordered and was assured by a lady name Jasmine Haskell that I would get a new jacket that fit properly, and insisted I pay the return shipping ... I refused to pay it until I actually saw my jacket.
After months of going back and forth, she kept telling that there was a production delay and that my jacket was first in the queue and to expect it in a couple weeks. A couple weeks past and nothing. I sent more emails and continued to ask the status on my order, I grew increasingly angrier and angrier and still got the run around from Jasmine. Eventually I got an email from another man who said Jasmine is no longer employed with AYYA. So I was corresponding with him, a man named Imer, so I began corresponding with him, who also told me that there was a delay in the production and that a machine was broken and would be a couple months before I saw my jacket. So I waited.
It's now February of 2012 and I have yet to see my jacket, and they still have my $700.00. I've sent them a total of 54 emails and they have not resolved my problem yet. The last reply I got from them was in November 2011, and sent another in December, no reply since.
I have never experienced this terrible of customer service EVER and I've lived abroad and travel extensively. This company is a poor representation of the clothing/fashion/retail industry and I would NEVER order from them again nor would I recommend them to anyone, despite their incredibly beautiful items, I believe that they are lying about the quality of work. I believe that the garments they "say" they're making are a misrepresentation and are not actually as amazing as they look online. I'm extremely angry and out $700.00, even asking for a refund they have not done so.
I'm very close to filing a legal lawsuit against this company and hope that they pay for this incredibly disrespectful treatment.
