She has to have the shipping address..
AUTHOR: Ronny g - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Friday, October 01, 2010
..at least which ever address you left as a shipping address. All she has to do is click on "view order details" on ebay..and your shipping address will be there.
All the confirmation really has to show,,is an item was shipped.
Most sellers do not "offer" insurance on a 17 dollar item..or ship it anything other then first class..you would know this is you were a regular ebay user. However, you could have offered to pay for signature confirmation and/or insurance, I am sure the seller would have complied. If you knew how ebay worked..did you not check the shipping info for the seller? Does it state how this seller ships? Did the seller comply?
The credit card dispute may work..but I imagine the seller will produce confirmation and the CC company will not reverse the charges. The seller did nothing wrong. If your CC covers items lost or stolen in the mail I will be impressed and ask you to kindly let me know which bank it is so I can apply.

Your lack of experience with Ebay is very obvious. She has the address. It's in paypal. In order for her to ship it to you, paypal had to supply the address to her to PRINT the FIRST CLASS SHIPPING LABEL. Paypal still has that address. You can even go into YOUR paypal account, look at the transaction and see where the package is coming from and the tracking number as well. Paypal sees that address, and sees the confirmation of delivery to THAT address, thats why they ruled in favor of the seller. Moreover, it will be very easy for her to get it ALSO from the Post Office themselves. She has a receipt that was attached to her label when it printed. That has the tracking number. The post office can very easily take that tracking number that they supplied delivery confirmation from, and get her the address to which they delivered it.
Just because the address doesn't show when you put the tracking info in USPS.com, doesn't mean she doesn't have it. She has it in 2 places. She probably just got tired of answering rude emails from you, since you seem to be very rude to me and I have not attacked you in any way. I have just supplied you with info to help you understand why you might not have gotten your package. You have called me stupid, assumed I was "her friend" and just been very mean and rude.
I am not her friend, as I told you before. I do not know this lady from adam. I was reading the ripoff reports about Ebay, and yours jumped out at me because I have had the same issue with a few customers before. They don't get the package and they assume it was because I did something wrong. And in EVERY CASE it was found they didn't realize they had never updated their address with PAYPAL when they moved. I actually have put on my auctions a HUGE PRINT NOTICE that states:****PLEASE NOTE*** If you win my auction, double check your shipping address listed with PAYPAL. If it is not correct, you will not receive your package. I only ship to the address that PAYPAL provides.****The only one looking stupid on here is you. I am done.

What facts?

What facts did you leave out of your posts that we are unaware of?
The only facts I see that you left out is the e-mail you sent the seller, and the address the seller actually sent the item to.
You said the e-mail was written in a "business manner", but for some reason didn't post it. Not that even if you did post it, you wouldn't have done some "editing". As for the address, how do you know it is a "fact" that they sent it to the wrong address? Did you do as the other person suggested and verified that the address you have in Paypal is the correct address?
Please tell us what facts are missing. Because if there is something you are leaving out, perhaps people could provide you with additional advise on how to proceed.
But I do find it interesting how you have a feedback score of 2(3 transactions) yet are saying that a person who has an overall score of over 16,000 does not know how to conduct themselves properly on Ebay.
If you get a charge back from the credit card company..congratulations. But if they don't are you going to write a RipOff Report on them because they didn't see it your way?
By the way the seller is not a friend nor do I even know who they are.

I DID review her 3 other negative comments (out of 3249). Yes, I even made a comment about her only fault being she doesn't deal well with peoples craziness. I am not her friend, I don't even know this seller. I am a fellow EBAYER, and I teach Ebay classes. I know how Ebay can be, and I have seen my fair share of bad sellers out there. She is not one of them. You really don't have much of voice because right now, you are an Ebay NEWBIE. You have 2 as a FB score, which shows me you have not done much on Ebay. Thats like a rookie Quarterback trying to tell the Veteran QB how to play football.
You try selling the amount she has sold, and see what craziness you end up dealing with. You list 10000 items over a years time, get a FB score of 3249 and see how many of those are NEGATIVE.
She has a great record. It's not her fault the Post Office took the package to the wrong house (it happens ALL the Time) or you have an incorrect address listed in Paypal. (Did you check that yet?)
You won't get very far on Ebay as a buyer if you deal with them in a quick to anger response and report them on RIP OFF REPORT for minor things. Seasoned Ebayers look at this seller the same way I do, she has great FB. Postal Mistakes happen all the time, take my advice from before, INSURE any future purchases to protect yourself, your money etc.
Be PROACTIVE instead of REACTIVE.

I'd have to agree as well..

With over 3,200 positives and only 4 negatives in the last year it does not sound like this seller is trying to run some scam, where they just randomly pick on a buyer and not ship a $17 item.
While I do agree that it probably wouldn't have been too much of an issue to send you the address she sent it to. At the same time why is that such a big deal to you, why do you suspect that she would send it to a different address? Also, why didn't you post the e-mail you sent. Perhaps you were not the nicest person in your e-mails so the seller decided to dish it out just as much as you tried to give it?

The seller seems legit..

..but mistakes happen. I once shipped an item and I did address it wrong. It was returned to me and I re-shipped it using the correct address.. at my expense of course.
Confirmation means an item was shipped. This seller as conducted 16,245 transactions, 3249 in the past 12 months and has 99.8% positive rating. The 4 negatives did involve shipping issues.
Either the seller did screw up the address, the buyer gave the wrong address info (this happens a lot), or the P.O. screwed up.
If the item was sent to the wrong address..it should be returned to the seller. But packages do get stolen..the P.O., Fedex and UPS will just leave it by the door if no one is home unless signature confirmation is used..which cost more. Does the tracking state a package was delivered? If so..where? Was it left by a door and not signed for?
This is the reason I insure anything worth over 50 dollars..who needs the hassle? However, insurance cost money and these costs are typically paid by the buyer..most eBayers are operating on a shoe string as it is. Tough call this one actually, but if you look at the stats, this seller has a really good track record..99.8% is not the sign of a bad seller with almost 3250 transactions in the past 12 months.
If the seller can document confirmation of shipping..that pretty much eliminate the chance of paypal reversing the charges..since the item could have been stolen even though the seller shipped and confirmed it.

Evidently you didn't review her negative comments on eBay where she has done the same thing to others in the past and her attitude is always the same. Like the email she sent me, making comments about someone she doesn't even know, shows how stupid she is, she may have looked up my address first, she might have found that I live in an upper class area of Gilbert, but to someone who lives in a trailer, I guess everwhere is a slum.

I really don't think you are justified in your report claiming this seller ripped you off. I buy and sell on Ebay all the time. I have been ripped off before, a few times really very badly. I did as you suggest in your report, I went and checked her Feedback score. She has had over 3000 FB in the last year, out of those she has only had 4 Negatives!! WOW. ONLY 4 Negatives in over 3000 positive FBs. This lady is a very HONEST seller. You obviously have either not been a part of Ebay very long or you just have a bad case of SOUR GRAPES. A Bad seller, and a DISHONEST Seller have very low FB scores, and they have NUMEROUS negatives, like 60 to 70 in 3000. Not 4. So, you are saying this lady who has 3245 POSITIVE Feedbacks is sitting in her house say, wooo h*o, over the past year I ripped off 4 sorry suckers just cuz i felt like it. LOL... I highly doubt it would be worth her time or cost in Ebay charges, seeing as she lists huge amounts for sale. What I will say is she is definitely a little harsh when it comes to dealing with folks and their craziness, but that by far is her only fault. I noticed you took the time to copy and past her email to you, but conveniently left out the emails you sent her. Who knows what you said to her. Maybe you were just as rude. Either way, the address she sent it to is the address you have on file with PAYPAL. I am a seller on Ebay and almost anytime I have had shipping issues is because buyers don't realize that their address comes up automatically for the seller. We do not have to enter the buyer's address at all. It is the address that the buyer gave PAYPAL as a shipping address. You might want to check yours. But any problems in shipping once it leaves her hands is not her fault. My advice to you, PAY for SHIPPING INSURANCE the next time you buy on Ebay. That way you can be reimbursed by the Post Office for your loss in the event the seller will not. Protect YOURSELF, and make sure any addresses Ebay and Paypal have for you are current.
Stop being a victim.
