To Whom It Might Concern:

On 6/28 I booked a round trip flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil (GRU) to New York (JFK) for both my parents. Immediately after providing my financial information I received an email confirming the transaction.

My parents arrived at the airport only to find out there was no reservation and the confirmation code provided was not valid.

The tumult generated was great. My father is a Parkinsonian patient, 78 years old, and my mother is 69 years old. This stress represents a hazard to their health as they were both completely disoriented, distressed and fatigued by this inconvenience.

In response, BACC travel seems aloof to all the havoc caused. I am extremely frustrated as I feel helpless in spite of being wronged.

In addition, I had made arrangements to take time off from work and focus on spending time with them. This is a huge let down. I am so saddened by it... truly frustrating.

Hope some consequences follow this irresponsible behavior on the part of this agency.

How can I sue someone that is making FRAUDULENT reports about my company? This is just one of my illegal competitors that are doing everything possible to damage my 35 years of good reputation, great services and operation as a LEGAL TRAVEL AGENCY. How can I defend myself if your company refuses to help? Every other web site that these culprits posted FALSE ACCUSATIONS against me were willing to remove the posts if I submitted proof...which I did and they all promptly removed the posts. Seems like RIP OFF is AGAINST honest people and allows criminals and con artists to hurt the honest business people, like myself.

I am all for web sites that warn consumers of bad dealings with other businesses. Before I buy anything I go to the Better Business Bureau all the time to do my research. I also go to other sites that check their facts before allowing any posts to be posted. If you were taken advantage of and actually "ripped off" the correct way of warning others is to submit proof that you were wronged...right? NOT ON RipOff.com!!!! Rip Off allows ANYONE to post ANYTHING, even if it's a COMPLETE LIE and you have documentation to prove such!! BE CAREFUL!! If you make someone angry they can come on here and say you are a rapist, serial killer or even a pedophile..and there will be NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO REMOVE THE POST FROM RIP OFF. I have never written anything against BACC or MR. JOAO DE MATOS.
MR. JOAO DE MATOS is a very admirable businessman and has done the best to promote great relations between the U.S.A. and Brasil. Mr. Joao de Matos is very honest and professional individual and I always used BACC for 30 years and never had any problems. BACC TRAVEL has the best deals and prices for anyone who wants to visit Brasil.

For the past few days I have had an investigation done in my office and there is no record of what this person said happened. Nice has been with my company for over 20 years and she also has no knowledge of this incident.

We even went as far as doing a search for clients in Auburn, Georgia, and there are no passengers with the initials "AGS" or any negative report to speak of.

The only thing I can think of is that one of our competitors took time to make this false accusation only to harm our good name and reputation.

I also wanted to ad that with an accusation as serious as the one being made against us, one would think that if there were even a fraction of truth to this story me or my general manager would have been contacted immediately. Common sense says that when a company does you wrong the first thing you do is go to the general manager or owner to try and resolve the problem.

I am urging the person who wrote this report to please contact me ASAP so I can speak to them. When you call please ask for me, the owner - Joao DeMatos and say that it is regarding a report made on the Rip Off Reports web site. If this accusation is true I would like to get to the bottom of it and come to a resolution immediately, we sell over 50.000 pax/per year and is impossible to look for "AGS".
