Bitcoin4backpage.com Beware of this scam

 So I was on backpage trying to create an ad. Low and behold, it asked me for bitcoin instead of credit card info. It referred me to a few sites where I could fund my account. One of them was bitcoin4backpage.com . They said they accepted amazon cards. I purchased a card for $25. And proceeded to buy $15 in credits from the site. 15 hours later still nothing. No email response. No credits on my account. Come to find out, backpage has been referring customers to a complete scam. All over the internet ppl are saying it’s a scam. It’s terrible that I can no longer trust back page to use for ads or anything else. It’s my impression that backpage is working with this site to rob ppl. Why else would they refer us to them? I even checked the browser address. Sure enough, it was back page official website.
