There is a site on Facebook called Bad Cat Breeders and I stumbled upon it. I found a very biased article about Savannah breeders and the process of breeding them! I found it extremely offensive, and brought this to the author's attention. She is a pixie bob cat breeder and really hypocritical to be judgemental about how other breeders choose to breed their animals! She also used animal right groups sites, which are known to use deception in describing the breeding process. I am not a breeder and a Savannah owner. I have been involved in Savannah pages since a year before owning a Savannah. I wanted to understand everything about these cats, and make sure I could provide for them with with a good home. Needless to say the lies ticked me off. I pointed out to her what was wrong, and she did not care. I believe once she realized how much early generation breeders charge for their kittens she was jealous. Thus, she wrote a disparaging article about these breeders, lies about breeding them, and making all of them sound mercenary. This is why another breeder should not ever run a site like this, because she cannot be objective. Thus, I have a hard time believing any of the complaints on her page. There is good and bad breeders, in any breed. She betrayed her fellow breeders by passing along the an rights lies about the breeding of this for her own selfish means. These cats are popular, and she found a way to make breeding them sound like animal abuse. She should be ashamed.

The author used "Big Cat Rescue" as her bias article. FYI BCR is against breeding of hybrid cats and LIES about these cats and their mating habits. BCR uses the propaganda that the small leapords used in the hybridizing the feline, domestic will die during breeding. This is not true. Small leapords can be raised along side of their hybridized counterpart. These leopards are not dangerous, and raised like a dog or cat. So, the author used AR information to disparage a breeder. Her articles are bias because of her bad experience with a breeder. It seems most have lost the ability to be objective; she definitely has. FYI I am not a breeder. I just loves these cats and tired of people like the author bad mouthing them. Nothing makes me more angry than a article ill written by a uniformed non hybrid cat owner. I have had bad experiences with breeders too. It does not mean I write nasty articles while disparaging a breed I am unfamiliar with. So are you the pixiebob breeder? Would you like me to write a article disparaging these cats as part wild. Some people believe they are part bobcat. Just because I can write that, does not make it true. If you are going to write about breeds you are unfamiliar with; ask someone that knows about them. This is not the only complaint that stupid site has.

I am said Pixie Bob breeder. I am also the webmaster of Bad Cat Breeders. As such I created the website and I maintain it. That is all that I do. I am paid for this work, so I am in essence an employee of this venue.
The owner of Bad Cat Breeders is a private entity by the name of Michelle. She is not a breeder. She is a pet buyer who got taken advantage off in a horrible way. She is also my friend. She asked me to help her with this website and I agreed. That is the extent of my involvement.
I can report at the time of the posting of the article that is mentioned in this "complaint", the Savannah breeding community (well, some of them) went nuts and bombarded the website and Facebook page with threats. It was not pretty. The person who filed this report actually is a Savannah breeder.
Bad Cat Breeders has nothing to be ashamed of. We literally have had countless of reports from Savannah pet buyers who were taken advantage of. Most of them are too scared to come forward publicly, but we do listen to them and we help them the best we can.
BCB is not associated nor supports any animal rights groups. All admins are in fact breeders. The owner is not.
The BCB venue now employs 5 admins located all over the world. And one webmaster - me.
