Amazingly unprofessional company.
I listed my home with Baird and Warner, Plainfield, Illinois using realtor Rhonda Altman. While I think she put some effort into the marketing, her follow up with potential buyers was lacking. In addition I feel her knowledge of zoning, and land use is limited and she certainly could have done some homework in this area.
When I expressed my concerns, she showed up, unannounced at the property with her regional broker Steve Engel. Rather than have a discussion, Engel threw the key at me, pulled the sign from the yard and they left. When I wrote about the situation several times to Steve Baird, the owner of this large brokerage chain, amazingly he never bothered to even respond.
They cancelled the listing without notice or discussion, and refused to follow through on leads that came from recent advertising. When I offered to contact these leads myself and still pay the commission if I did their work for them, they did n ot respond.
Amazingly unprofessional, and a complete waste of time and energy. There are certainly real estate firms that want to work and will help you get your property sold. This is not one of them.

This agency Baird and Warner in Plainfield Il, is very unprofessional. I will be filing a complaint with the state board that grants them a license, because they dropped my listing without warning after I invested much time to prepare the house and meet for photos , etc.
With so many realtors around, I would never again take the chance with this company.
