Baker College of Muskegon false enrollment no compinsation don't transfer credits all persons involved denial of accusations child had 6 weeks left of freshman year ignored for two in a half months no answers no return calls Muskegon, Michigan

My daughter attended Baker College of Muskegon starting in september 2011 as a freshman. Everything was fine until the fourth week of the second trimester when we were told she had a balance on her account so, I made phone calls and she spoke to her advisors. We were told at this time it was because she switched her program. I appeared at the college after numerous phone calls were unanswered and at the college was ran around in circles still with no answers.  My daughter was enrolled in the special education certification program, and at this point the only thing they would tell us is that she changed her program choice which i know she did not due to the fact this is what she has wanted since she was in the 7th grade.  No body from the college can find the paperwork or any documents as to who switched the program she was in.  My daughter would have went to one of the other colleges she was accepted to if they would have never lyed.  She had three others that offer her program and could have went to any of them.

I pushed for my daughter to hang in there until we could get things straightened out.  This went on from January 2012 with no return phone calls and no explaination.  I worked my way up the ladder from advisor, to business personel, to the dean, skipped past the vice president and finnally went to the president.  Spoke to him multiple times and was suppose to set up meetings with all persons involved and never did.  After leaving consistant messages he finally called back which was now 3 weeks into the spring trimester (6 in a half weeks before she would have been done with her freshman year).  At the meeting we were told "we do not have the program for your daughter it is in her best interest to withdraw." 

I feel the college falsely enroll students just for the money and have no compensation for what they did wrong.  Now the classes my daughter has already taken are just a waste of time and a waste of money because her classes won't even transfer.  Other remarks we received is i can't get to the bottom of this because the addmissions person that enrolled her don't recall and the advisor don't know (which she started at the end of the fall trimester) and the dean don' know what to tell us because they can not seperate this situaion since they deal with too many students. 

Now my daughter has students loans to pay and she has to start all over.  It is going to take her now a year longer since she has to start all over and there is nothing that the college can do. Please help so this does not happen to anybody else it has been hard enough for us with no direction to go.  We are now being treated as if we are liers which is unfair.
