Balboa Insurance Company Balboa Homeowner's insurence gave us the big finger Santa Ana California

We bought a homeowner's policy from Balboa. We lived in Bay St. Louis, Ms. Katrina...by the beach.
We bought their policy because it stated if your home explodes due to wind you are covered. Our home exploded due to wind, our wind and hail paid in full.
Balboa never contacted us after the claim. they sent a letter to us that our house and personal property showed flood damage. We had no house or personal property all that was there was a pile of wood and a surge pattern, this determined the house exploded before the water came in. We sent them pictures three times, made lots of calls. They refused to speak to us or return our phone calls. We had to get an attorney and file suite before time ran out. In 2008 we met with their attorney and were questioned about everything in our past that had nothing to do with this policy we bought in good faith. Their attorney told us well let a judge decide on the wording of the policy. The judge set up a settlement conference. Before we could get to court Balboa appealed their loss. So here we set waiting...they would rather pay a high price attorney than pay our little claim...
If you are reading stay from Balboa they will rip you off in your biggest time of need we didn't even get loss of use payment.
