Ballet Petite The emotional distress place McLean, Virginia

First of all, I would never recommend Ballet Petite, not even to my worst enemy for a simple reason, they dont care about the children.

My daughter started in Ballet Petite about 8 months ago and everything was OK. In Valentines week, we brought one of my daughters school friends to class. She came back for a trial class and, this time, we brought another school friend for a trial class. They both decided to register but couldnt go to my daughters class because it was full.

We asked Ballet Petite to put the 3 girls in the same class and, since my daughter was 2 months too young for that specific class, we asked for an exception.

It took them almost a week to be able to make such a difficult decision and finally, they said they dont make exceptions. One needs to keep in mind that the exception we are talking about would affect only the 4 last classes of the session. They also said that for the following session, they could all be together. So, my daughter is not ready to join that class now (because she is too young) but will be ready in 4 weeks. I wonder what will change in 4 weeks. I will not even try to go into details on the nonsense I heard from the director over the phone.

Last Saturday my daughter saw her friends and wanted to go to class with them. I couldnt explain to her why she couldnt and she just laid down on the floor and wept.  If I couldnt understand why Ballet Petite is so insensitive, inflexible and unreasonable, how could I explain it to a 3 year old child? That was heart breaking and no mother should go through it again. My daughter may end up hating ballet and Ballet Petite doesnt care at all, even after we brought 2 new students to them (without receiving any compensation).

My daughter will not continue in Ballet Petite because for no acceptable reason, they decided to cause a deliberate emotional distress in my 3 year old daughter. There are other ballet studios with a more professional attitude and we will have trial classes.
