I ordered a $700 Christmas tree from Balsam Hill Christmas Tree Company in November of 2009. The tree arrived damaged with one of the electrical plugs smashed, and the tree itself would not stand straight up, it had a significant lean to it almost as if it was going to fall over. For the price we paid, we expected a tree in new condition and without damage.



I made several calls to the customer service line and was put on hold for at least 3 or 4 hours total for all the calls combined. Each time I was told that warranty support would contact me but they never did. I finally had to file a credit card chargeback and to this date it is still not resolved between the bank and Balsam hill. 



So we are now stuck with a tree that was supposed to be very high quality and one you would hand down to your kids, but it is an overpriced piece of junk and Balsam Hill should be ashamed of themselves.



If I were you, I would be very careful before ordering anything from these jokers.
