Hello,

I am seeking the remaining balance for my card that was closed. This is a gold visa debit card.

My card was first suspended in December, in the which the Risk Department requested verification of myself, such as a government issued ID, Social Security Card, some kind of bill to verify my address, as well as a deposit verification to verify that I am the person depositing the funds into the account.

I sent all of these documents and AccountNow accepted them and took my card off of suspension. I use this card to transfer money from my Paypal account to my AccountNow Visa Card.

Yesterday, my card was suspended again. I have talked to a Manager in the Risk Department by the name of John. He says that I can not receive the remaining balance on my card (which is $3,800+) because I need to first verify how I got that money INTO MY PAYPAL account. He is not asking to verify that I own the paypal account or from where I transferred money into my Accountnow card, he is asking how I got that money INTO MY PAYPAL account.

Let this be an official request for the remaining balance on my account in the form of a check sent to my address associated with the account. Let me remind you that my card was closed by AccountNow, so this is why I am requesting the remaining balance.

According to the Bancorp Cardholder Agreement, "In the event that your Card Account is cancelled, closed, or terminated for any reason, you may request the unused balance to be returned to you via a check to the mailing address we have in our records."

If I don't receive a response within 7 days, I will file a Small Claims court requesting the $3,800+ balance with $2000+ in punitive damages. I have all of the records, including my emails verifying my identification and requesting my remaining balance in the form of a check.

I await your response
