I took my 4 month old cat to Banfield Animal Hospital located at PetSmart in Glen Burnie. The Nigeran doctor Zobowale told me that my cat need a transfusion for fleas and also the cat had an ear infection. I have had cats all my life and never heard of such a ridiculous diagnosis, since my cat was taking frontline and he had no indication of any ear pain. Banfield tried to sell me a 300.00 policy for a year of shots and visits but I did not take the bait.

I walked out of Banfield and made an appointment with another veternarian, who was recommended by a friend.

I was able to get an appointement the next day and I said nothing to the vet about what Dr Zobowale told me.

The vet checked my cat's ears and gave him a clean bill of heath. I asked if the cat's ears were infected and she said his ears were perfect. She also found no fleas on my cat. I told her what had happened at Banfield and she wrote me a letter stating that my cat was perfectly healthy.

I took the letter to Banfield the following day and I made a scene telling the patients that Banfield was a scam and related what had happened.

Zobowole tried to make excuses but he was a LIAR and FRAUD and I told him so. He threatened to call the police and I told him I would love for him to call the police because I was ready to press charges against him for medical malpratice and endangering my cat to unneccessary medication and treatments. He could do nothing but give me my money back for the visit the previous day.

I called Banfield's home office and made a complaint about Zobowale. The person I talked to acted concerned, but the entire operation is a scam because nothing was done about Zobowole. He is still working for Banfield.

I aslo found out from a friend that her friend took his dog to Banfield and had a different doctor tell him that his dog had an ear infection, which was a complete lie. He took his dog to another vet and the vet did not find anything wrong with the dog.

DO NOT take your pets to Banfield. It is only out to make a profit and has a repuation of falsifying diagnosis to rake in the cash.
