This vet prescribed antibiotics for viral illness on my puppy, did not give me a verbal diagnosis but after I checkout handed me a print out said kennel cough, overcharged me for antibiotics which every other vet ranges from $18-$21 and online its $14-$26.
Mandated that puupy was to get second shots of vaccines and overcharged me for those, puupy sick but she vaccinated him and did not give me an option to hand me a written RX so I could have got for free at Publix Pharmacy or paid why less at another vet.
I highly recommend you need a vet go elsewhere these people are a RIPOFF company and I also seen a dog there that was brought in by a lady with a highly gross amount of skin fungus infection on 1/2 of his body which she verbalized that it has been going on for 1yr and she never took him for medical care, they did not call animal services and that is abuse. I am a healthcare worker and I swore to report abuse when I became liscensed as well as these vet care people and they fail to report that to the county. The poor dog look so miserable and had a terrible mal odor that stunk the whole store.
That tells you there in for the money...........

When a puppy has kennel cough after vaccination it is customary to place puppy or dog on antibiotics to prevent a bacterial infection since the puppy is already immune compromised. Banfield, like any other veterinary or medical practice is there to make money. We as consumers need to be educated as to prices and set limits to the amounts we are willing to pay. If the Antibiotic is cheaper online or some place else, you should have told them and they would have given you the prescription or they would have negotiated a price. As far as the other dog's skin infection, fungus or whatever that frankly is not of your concern. For all you know it might be an ongoing problem and the dog might have had treatment or etc.... Remember, as in the Sym's Commercial An educated consumer is best.l

So exactly why did you post this twice? This is the same report that was posted from you under a different ID about the exact same details on Dec 17th. Same location, same complaint and the same issue about a dog that had a scent that they have no control over. What purpose does this serve except for showing your hate for them and that takes away from the actual issue and shows there is more to this than a real reason.
The other story is located at this site /veterinarians/banfield-at-petsmart/banfield-at-petsmart-brandon-be584. htm
Sad you can't even be more original. In closing Banfield does offer a price match policy so again I say if you did not follow that policy who is at fault? Then for charging you or you for not using the price match policy?
Try to be more original when you post reports here, especially when its the same company about the same clinic and the exact same topic.

I have a issue with your report, its not a real report as this website has its guidelines. First your complaining about the pricing at Banfield; yet they have a price match program. While I do have a complaint against them also its something different but while I was a consumer there I did use their price match program and it did save a good deal of money. So if you did not use their price match policy then who's fault is it?
The second part of your report has nothing to do with their Hospital at except for a different consumer used their services for their dog. As for reporting that person the only way that would hold any weight in a abuse case is if you had reported the dog prior to his care at any hospital.
IMO you report is one that should be removed from this great website; should it be allowed as you have no clue as to what your talking about.
