Bangedup.com was a free site containing some soft porn, humor and violent or outrageous scenes. Three weeks ago, they shut the site down to set up a new site bangedup.net. On June 3, 2009, the new site is up. In order to get access, you have to prove that you are an adult by entering credit card information which gets you access and there is no charge for that. HOWEVER, if you read to the bottom of the Terms and Conditions, clicking on almost any picture or word "upgrades" you to full access and they charge about $47 to your card which is an automatic recurring charge. You do not have to give any further consent to a credit card charge
Also this is no longer a humor and soft porn site, it has become a full hardcore porn site.
Bottom line is that it is free to get in and if you click on anything, you are going to pay for something you did not want to get. This is a huge RIPOFF.
They send a confirmation email to your email address which includes a number for the credit card pay operation at www.HPAY1.com which has a 800 number. You can phone and they will cancel your membership BUT there is another RIPOFF awaiting. They will let the first $47 charge go through UNLESS you insist that they cancel the transaction. They will do this eventually.

Same thing happened to me

Same thing here - I have been going to this site for years and then it went dead... it came back up and asked for CC info to verify my age.... I entered my information - STUPID - I know... I checked my bank account online and noticed the 49.97 charge on my available balance. Canceled my account immediately and called the EZBILLNOW to have them remove the charge.
They advised this was an "authorization charge" which would be removed in 3-5 business days and would not reverse it or delete it.
I called my bank and advised them of the situation and they reversed the "authorization charge" but told me to keep an eye on my account in case they bill me.
I am so pissed off that this happened and I was dumb enough to fall for it.
Lesson learned I guess -
