This firm sent me a preapproved business line of credit to my office in San Francisco, and it inidcated that they had pre-approved me for a line of credit for 150K  Simply call to confirm or visit there website to activate the line of credit. They did not indicate this was equipment leasing and credit card financing in the US Postal Mailer. This is a scam on small business owners. It inidcated that my business credit was excellent and I was preapproved. This is not the case. They are preying on the sub-prime market for peope who cannot get standard good FICO based Bank Financing or Credit Union or Crowdfunding et al.

If anyone is dissatisfied with them I encourage you to add your experience here. I was suprised that the BANK OF CARDIFF was not a bank and that my PREAPPROVED LINE OF CREDIT For my business so all of my financial worries and stuggles would be over just to give them a hefty commisson and high interest rate no doubt (ee all know if its too good to be true it probably isnt, but it reminds me of the sales tatics employed by the Publishers Clearing House a few years ago when they told seniors they won millions and people would fall for that...and they have to clean up their advertising act the feds stepped in.

If anyone got scammed by this BANK OF CARDIFF please constribute your story here or file a complaint with the Orange County Better Business Bureau. Any Financial Services Broker who restorsts to these tatics cant be all that credible as in addition to doing SEO consulting and web design for over 21 years, I am also a financial services independt broker for over 14 yaars with various products and services for small busienss niche clients and I would never recommend any firm to a client who would pass themselves off as a BANK (BANK OF CARDIFF complete with a seal on the mailer and a bold headline  saying  BUSINESS LINE OF CREDIT OFFER ENCLISED and when you open it its PRE APPROVED just like a credit card offer you might get in the mail where you just sing in and your card is on the way!  WOW!

RICKY WRIGHT NOT A LENDER

AUTHOR: FUNDING BY RICKY LOAN AGENT - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, December 21, 2015

Ricky Wright never claimed to be a licensed or any other type of Lender in the State of California.

Bank of Cardiff postal mailed me a preapproved loan line of credit letter as a marketing tool which was misleading.

I am also listed in Dunn & Bradstreet and YELP and have never done anything illegal.

I am NOT A LENDER and NEVER TOLD BANK OF CARDIFF I AM A LENDER I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY GOT THEIR INFORMATION

I am a REGISTERD AGENT FOR SEVERAL NON BANK PRIVATE LENDERS AND ONE BANK FOR BANKING SERVICES
AS AN AFFILIATE MARKETER ONLINE and OFFLINE.

I AM AN AGENT LOAN BROAKER AND NOT REGISTERED WITH THE STATE AS I AM A SALE LOAN CONSULTANT AND SALES PEOPLE DO NOT NEED TO BE REGISTERED AS A LENDER IN OUR STATE CAPITOL ONLY LENDERS NEEDED TO BE LICENSED AND THE COMPANIES WHICH I REPRESENT AS A LOAN SALES BROKER OR DIRECT COMMISSIONED AGENT FOR ARE ALL LICENSED TO DO BUSINESS IN ALL 50 STATES. WE ARE LEGAL>

Apparently there are other comments regarding the Bank of Cardiff. Their company name is MISLEADING as where you open the letter in the postal mail it seems to be a check made out to you by a BANK. They are NOT and FDIC insured bank in the USA. I do not know where they are headquartered I called Southern California to ask about the preappoved check I had received and go the run around by their loan agents. They avoided identfying themselves as a BANK although the check had BANK OF CARDIFF on it and seemed to be a check from a regular BANK. Marketing SCAM techniques such as they employed in my opinion are shady and they may be legitimate however I would not recommend them. I dont know if they are BBB A+ accredited as my lenders I work for are, and my lenders are based in the USA and can do business legally in all 50 staes. We cannot and do not male overseas or foreign loans, only USA.  I have been in business for over 25 years as a web designer SEO Consultant Financial Consultant Affilaite Marketer online and have worked for VISA(R) in the past here in San Francisco in the late 1990s, and I want to clear the air about the BANK OF CARDIFF's legal dept statement identifying me as an unlicensed lender. I am not and never claimed to be a lender I am a represenetative of several lenders, and am an independent agent/broker/sales consultant. ALl of my services are complimentary FEE with no upfront fees ever.  I use legal credit repair via AttorneyCreditRepair.com for my customers and clients and have several lenders for both personal and business and startup loans. I just wanted to warn people about the shady way they tried to trick me into thinking I could have a loan which I know I did not qualify for.  Best regards, Ricky Wright, FundingByRicky.com www.fundingbyricky.com  Since January 1994 www.seobyricky.com Since Jan 1994

Pre-approved

AUTHOR: KC Woods - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, December 03, 2014

Well the person from BofC that responded to the original complaint stated there are no pre-approved offers. I am here to say, the offer I just received in the mail today says "Based on your business credit report, you are pre-approved for up to $100,000.00!....) there is a facsimile of a check in the amount of $150,000.00 attached, because if I respond by a certain date I'm qualified for an additional $50,000.00. There is no question this mailing says I am pre-approved. Now those of us who are not fools know better. First of all if I quallify for $100,000.00 then how can I magically qualify for an additional $50,000.00 just by virtue of a timely response. Personally I have never responded to one of these offers in the mail but it is clear based on the evidence, that Bank of Cardiff is not being truthful.

Ricky Wright is an Unlicensed Lender

AUTHOR: Legal Department - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 30, 2014

Commercial Finance & Leasing Bank of Cardiff, Inc. (“Bank of Cardiff”) is an independent finance company, not a national banking association.  It does not represent itself to be a depository institution or a member of the FDIC.

Bank of Cardiff engages in direct mail advertising campaigns sent to small businesses that are identified by Dunn & Bradstreet through compiled data as being likely creditworthy candidates for financing.  There is no guarantee of credit approval.  Bank of Cardiff does not target “sub-prime credit customers”, advertisements are only sent to prospective customers identified by Dunn & Bradstreet as likely being creditworthy.  No one is approved for financing until and unless they deliver a signed application giving Bank of Cardiff the authorization to investigate their creditworthiness, and only then once the investigation reveals a creditworthy applicant.  The information available through Dunn & Bradstreet business reports does not provide a basis for credit approval, it only provides enough information to identify a particular business that may qualify for credit.  A final credit decision is never made without a full investigation of the financial condition of an applicant.  In some cases, those that have received a mailed advertisement from Bank of Cardiff will not qualify for a credit approval after investigation following receipt of an application.

Mr. Wright did not at any time submit an application for credit to Bank of Cardiff.  Mr. Wright indicated interest by visiting Bank of Cardiff’s website.  When contacted by Bank of Cardiff, Mr. Wright simply requested to be removed from the mailing list, which has been done.  Further, Mr. Wright indicates in his post that he has been engaged for 14 years as a loan broker.  However, neither Mr. Wright or his company is properly licensed under California law for such activities.  Any loans he has brokered were in violation of the California Finance Lenders Law.

This post, while admitting illegal activity, is nothing more than a competitor trying to smear Bank of Cardiff out of hand without any facts supporting his position.  Bank of Cardiff wishes Mr. Wright continued success in his SEO endeavors, but would like to caution him or anyone doing business with him with respect to financing that he is not properly licensed and is therefore operating his broker business in violation of California law and is subject to the usury provisions of the California Constitution.
