Bank One ripoff and put me on check systems Austintown Ohio
*Consumer Comment: I am assuming....
I have had Bank one as my bank for years. But when they joined Chase my account went to hell. I had stop payments on my account and they paid them and it made our account over then they said that they was closing the account for going over and put us on check systems when they are the ones who did it to us. They kept charging are account for this and making other things bounce when they sould not have.

That you took in your stop payment receipts as soon as you noticed that this happened?
Most banks cash their checks by computer. I know that because I had a similiar situation with a different bank a couple of years ago. I had bought some stuff with a check. And then had an unexpected bill come up. I stopped payment on the check and returned the stuff that I had bought. My rent check ended up bouncing that's when I found out that the payment on the stopped check had gone through.
She said that sometime the computer would accidentally approve the check anyways. Maybe you should try that. Then they should go after the people who got the money from the mistakenly paid checks.
