Banker's Life and Casuality, Austin, TX They'll Sell You Leads, Then Take Them Back and Cash Your Check Austin, Texas

Worked briefly as a non-paid (commission only), contract, cold-calling, door knocking, on-site sales agent for Banker's Life and Casualty in Austin, TX. I gave them a $20. check for 4 leads and ordered business cards. I told them I needed to be at my gym on Weds. at 5 pm, and since I was contract worker, I assumed it was not a problem.

It was a problem, since according to the over-weight 20-something sales manager, it indicated that I was more interested in the gym than making money for Banker's. This was not the truth as I was doing very well in only 10 days.

They asked me to wait in the waiting room, rifled through my personal stuff,  took the leads back and anything else they could find they wanted,  said good-bye,  then cashed the leads check almost a month later. They said it was too late to cancel the business cards although I was able to do so when I got home. Avoid these creeps. Do NOT EVER let them in your pocket.

Bought 4 leads from Bankers Life by check. Asked me to wait, rifled through my stuff,  took the leads back,  said good-bye, then cashed the leads check.
