People would call into their call center to complain about charges on their account when they'd called several months prior to cancel auto-ships. Because it was "out of our time frame", there was nothing we could do about the charges. Some people didn't even know they were signed up for any auto-ship program because they were lied to. The telemarkers would lie about anything under the sun to make a sale, and are still able to get away with it.

I was supposed to lie to customers to make the company/client look good. This wasn't in the job description of course, and when I contacted the CEO of Bare Escentuals to inquire about the telemarketers lying and basically stealing money from people, I was fired from my job.
