Bargain Network, Inc. Scam artists submit unauthorized charges to your credit card on a regular basis. Goleta California
*Author of original report: "BargainNetwork.com" Scam Artists Make Unauthorized CC Charges
"bargainnetwork.com" got my credit card number and began making unauthorized regular bi-weekly charges of $39.80 to my credit card. My guess is that they acquired my credit card number through one of those "surveys" where they ask for a credit card number for "identification" purposes.
BEWARE of participating in surveys or in "free" offers where some small charge of a dollar or so is requested for handing charge. First you will see the small charge appear, later more substantial charges will begin to show up.

"BargainNetwork.com" Scam Artists Make Unauthorized CC Charges
AUTHOR: Custom - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, April 05, 2007
BargainNetwork.com is a network scam operation that will make unauthorized charges to your credit card on a regular basis.
Be careful about "surveys" offering anything for "free." They will wind up request a credit card number for "identification" purposes, or they will indicate a small "handling charge." If you fall for this, you might wind up seeing unauthorized charges appear on your credit card.
It is common for this company to make unauthorized charges bi-weekly in the amount of $39.80. In my case, this occurred for over 4 months before I caught it and took action to get it reversed.
