Barnett's Computer Wharehouse Misled into buying an over-priced item that didn't have the features I requested, then was declined a refund. New York New York

I just wanted to let you know of a corrupt electronic store that I bought an overpriced portable DVD from. It's called Barnett's Computer Wharehouse on 5th Ave @ 47th st.

They also run a few websites like PCVideoOnline, PriceMad, Comp Direct and FiveStarPlasma. When I visited their store to return a portable DVD player that they tricked me into buying because it didn't have the features they said it had, they were unprofessional, rude, harassing and trying to bullshit me.

They wouldn't let me get a refund for an item I was misled into buying. When I told a salesman to stop yelling at me and treat me like a customer, he said I'm no customer to him--despite that I paid money in the 3-digits to them.

I also told him that it's no way to treat a human being--at least he didn't say that I'm not a human. When I asked the speak to the owner of the company, he asked me who I work for like I might be the FBI or CIA--as if they might have something to hide.

Also, when I originally came to their store to purchase the item, I asked a salesman if it's easy to assemble and he replied, "Come on, you're Israeli. It should be easy." They mostly pick on tourists though, and when they found out I'm not one, they toned down the bullshitting a little.

That's my story and, although, they upgraded me for a portable DVD player with a larger screen and the correct features, it was still over-priced. They didn't let a dissatisfied costumer get a refund and treated me like s*it throughout the whole process. All-in-all, I'm dissatisfied with their aggressive, deceptive service which just feels sleazy and wrong on so many levels.
