Charlie Fusco and his girlfriend, Melody Dyson are up to no good. They are out there selling a "range" of fiberglass pools, (depends on which pool they can sell you, what your budget is or who they are up against in the competition for your business, could be a Barrier Reef Pool, less expensive, less options, or a "Crystal Palace Pool" ((new range of "Viking Pools", little higher end and more options)), collecting deposits, hiring shoddy contractors, showing up to collect money when money is due (but rarely ever if there is a problem, that takes repeated attempts at reaching them and getting returned phone calls).

They ALWAYS show up when it is time to collect a payment, probably because they need your money to pay for older, still unfinished jobs like covers etc. Word has it that they do NOT pay their contractors. They try too, but if money gets tight and they dont have enough "new" deposits in from new contracts, they can't afford to pay the contractors for work they are doing, possibley on YOUR job!

No big deal, Charlie just hits the streets and starts signing up new business, using that money and off they go. SERIOUS case of borrowing from Peter, Bill, Henry, Bob or ANYONE, to pay PAUL!

Confirmed bad debts include several contractors, MANY, MANY suppliers (but you have to check under both names, Charlie &/or Melody, AND Prestige Pools and/or Barrier Reef Pools! They have been known to open up accounts in one name or the other, depending on "if" they already owe you money in one name!

Prestige Pools LLC (A Charlie Fusco Company) filed for BK owing Viking pools nearly 65K. Then Viking for some unknown reason allowed him to sell pools as Prestige Pools (no LLC this time)for one of their new companies, Crystal Palace Pools!! Barrier Reef Pools for some unknown reason continues to allow him to sell their pools despite the homeowner complaints, and despite the fact that he sells SEVERAL and ANY/ALL makes of fiberglass pools!

Prestige Pools has at LEAST two confirmed bad checks to Hatchik Supply amounting to nearly 20K! Charlie lied to the owner of that company stating that "in his divorce, his wife had his accounts frozen!" meanwhile, continueing to issue checks to various people on that same account! Check with the owner of Hatchik Supply for compelte comfirmation,no lies here, it's the TRUTH! Charlie no longer uses them because he can't afford to pay them what he owes. now he has moved on to pool supply house in Ashland! (poor people! hope they are reading this and realize!!)

Charlie owes The Stone Center in Manassas several thousands of dollars from his past life as owner of "prestige pools LLC". I guess he thought the owner of that store wouldn't realize he was the same person when he had his girlfriend open up ANOTHER account in the name of Barrier Reef Pools! Unfortunately for the owner of the Stone Center, he DIDn't realize until Charlie actually had the nerve to show up one day to purchase something and he recognized the FACE! After inquiring with his staff, he was informed that was the man who they just opened up an account for under "Barrier Reef Pools!" Imagine the outrage for the poor owner of that store who had only just extended the creep credit a week earlier!!! Again, Check with the owner of the store, COMPLETE TRUTH!

Another trick of Charlies when attempting to get credit, he uses one company of his as a credit reference for the other!! If he is attempting to open up an account with you under Prestige Pools, he will list Barrier Reef as a reference! His girlfriend is his Sexretary and vouches for his creditworthiness! NICE!

Several contractors have complained about, Non payment, dealing with mad homeowners, shoddy installation contractors causing MAJOR issues for homeowners and additional contractors on the job. BOTH of his last two concrete subcontractors have HORROR stories about MAJOR pool settling causing serious issues with concrete cracking later. He CONTINUALLY blames his bad luck with contractors, poor guy, can't get anyone worth anything! (yet uses great big blowups of their work for display!!)

He blames the contractors that are now "on to him" and not working for him anymore as the "reason" behind any problem at all, be it, problems with a job..."Oh, my incompetent concrete contractor did that" or "I don't have any money as my last contractor "really messed me up this winter" RIGHT!! After he complains to you about his "bad" sub-contractors, ask him for their contact information and call them, then ask them about the circumstances, get the homeowners names on the jobs Charlie is complaining about, find out what EVERYONE has to say and the truth will come out. Also ask for OTHER references from the contractors of people they have done work for ASIDE from Charlie and you will see a pattern, those customers are HAPPY!

Charlie completed almost EVERY job until March of this year without the proper business license. He committed fraud by falsely completing his permit applications stating the jobs were valued at under $7,500 (the amount his previous Class C license allowed him to work up too). After being turned in to the VA Dept. of Occupt. & Profss. Regulation, he decided if he wanted to continue to rip people off, he should at least get his Class A and FINALLY did in March of this year...WHY the hell wouldnt VDOPR prevent him from that after obvious and blatant disregard for their regs??? He was turned in by people in Winchester, Harrisonburg, Stafford? Whats up with that.

The final thing should be this, if a guy has to resort to using two and three names to continue to do business, you have to ask y ourself WHY? What is he hiding. If he needs to use his own girlfriend and other company names for evidence of his creditworthiness, you have to ask yourself "Why"? If he was paying his bills to his subs, to his suppliers etc., and he has reportedly been doing this for so long, you have to ask yourself "WHY!!" He should have a list of his suppliers that he uses over and over and over again, but he cant, because he OWES THEM TOO MUCH MONEY!

As I stated before, we make every attemt to resolve any issues with our customers.
The anonymous customer mentioned by Tracy Mattthews and Andrew Gumpert; going by the name Tortuga Construction, obviously has our number. If she doesn't I will give it again here. Charlie Fusco at 540-435-0539 and my number is 540-435-4476. If that customer was concerned about a light and a waterfall not working, she is more than happy to call me directly and i will make every attempt to correct it for her, and then i will also make every attempt to collect my $3000.00 owed.
If i don't know who she is then how can i help her. Or maybe you would like to tell me who she is, Tracy. Then i can call her myself. Did you work on her job? I will go back and look at the jobs i have paid you for and see if there is anyone in Winchester, Va. That might help me narrow it down.

There are lots of complaints on the work that you and Andy did for our customers. I have many, many bills that have gone towards fixing work that you did wrong. Prestige Pools of Va.'s lawyer also has those bills and will be pressing charges against you.
There are no customers calling my phone to complain. I only hear you. I only see you on this website.
I have nothing to hide and neither does Charlie. So keep posting your emails and i will keep forwarding them to the lawyer.
Once again the number to reach me at is 540-435-4476. All of our customers can and should call us directly.
Any contractor that feels we owe them money may also contact us directly. They did not do work for a company that they didn't have a phone number for.
You seem to be the only people concerned with our accounts, not our customers.
That is because all customers have direct access to us 24/7 via phone fax or email.
If any customer or vender reading this email does not have the decency to say who they are then i can not help them.

Why dont you answer to the really important things like, your bad checks to Hatchik Supply?? I am sure Burge would verify that??? What about your bad accounts to The Stone Center??? What about your not paying your contractors??? What about your filing for BK with Viking 4 years ago??? I am sure as people start to become aware this site is available (and that is coming), there will be a lot of comments to weigh what type of people you and Charlie Fusco are.

No need to get into a pissing match as the two of you are KNOWN for your lies after lies after even more lies. No need for you to ATTEMPT to explain away all of the unresolved issues at MANY/MOST of your jobs as you will only lie and blame it on a contractor (or two). What about the poor people in Winchester who had there pool installed LAST SPRING and are STILL waiting for their light to be installed and their waterfall to be fixed??? Thankfully she holds $3,000 and I am sure Charlie has written that off and blamed yet another contractor for that...

There is no need, your actions will do you in.

As my name was mentioned several times in this report, i am responding. Charlie is out working on someones pool as i reply.

If any of our customers are unhappy with their pool or any part of their pool, all they need to do is contact myself or Charlie to have it resolved.

We did hire a so called concrete company last year that did so much damage to jobs, that we are still trying to correct much of what they did. The name of that company was, Tortuga Construction, out of Spotsylvania, Va. Andy Gumbert and his girlfriend, Tracy Matthews, claimed to have experience in concrete and block work. Some of the work they did was fine, and a lot of the work they did was not.

Please call me to get any of the home owners names they did work for and i will supply that for anyone who has questions.

They underestimated job cost, concrete yardage, and used black roof caulk to seal under a coping that they installed. That job has been cleaned and cleaned again and again, and will continue to need work until all of that product is removed. The homeowner will verify any and all of this information. They also did not complete the step coming out of the homeowners house, along with settling that took place behind work that was contracted with the homeowner directly, which we are having to pay someone to correct, because Andy and Tracy will not return phone calls or come back and fix their work.

The difference in names used is very simple. Charlie chose to market his company, Prestige Pools of Va. Inc. under Barrier Reef Pools, due to the fact that Barrier Reef was the only name brand of pools that his company sold for over 2 years. Recently, he has decided to sell a new line of pools for Viking, as they have 16ft. wide pools that Barrier Reef doesn't and a few other features that Barrie Reef pools don't offer.

As the Crystal Palace pool and Barrier Reef pool distributor for the Northern Va area, he has decided to just use Prestige Pools of Va. Inc. so that we could represent both companies.
I could go on and on and on about what this report states incorrectly about myself and Charlie Fusco, but i have customers to attend to.

If who ever files these reports and the person who sent my customers unsigned and no return addressed letters, can't give their name and a phone number at which they can be contacted, i can only assume they are just a competitor trying to cause trouble for our company. We are and do try to make sure that all of our customers are happy.
