The culprit is a man who professes to be a computer repair tech , a man by the name of Barry Wingard , from Denison Texas. First understand this , we posted about a computer problem , this tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas then contacted us , we did not contact him . I repeat , This tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas contacted us , we didn’t contact him. We manage our own customers who call us with computer repair problems, I PAY A LOT OF MONEY EVERY MONTH FOR ADVERTISING AND TO GENERATE MY OWN CUSTOMERS,.when one of our very own techs isn’t able to get to talk to the customer or get to working on customers problem right away and for whatever reason ,

we do what every other major and nationwide computer repair company does , we outsource a tech from a " trusted " platform . Now , having said that , There is nothing more savory in the computer repair world and for a computer repair tech then a business customer ,...this tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas couldn’t help himself ,....HE STOLE MY BUSINESS CUSTOMER FOR HIMSELF. When this tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas contacted me ...I looked into his portfolio and profile ,...I decided he looks like a good fit ...I became his customer , I am the buffer between an unknown tech who online seems to have a good portfolio and good star rating , but just like any other customer who goes on thumbtack , you don’t know until it arrives and either does good work or bad work ,....

I become the customer to protect my own customer and be the buffer,....should tech arrive and perform poor work , I’ll take it up with thumbtack and have a different tech go out ,....or not pay tech and send my customer a brand new tech ,...you see , I am seasoned in this business and field of computer repair , my customers are not , they are for the most part novices and wouldn’t know the difference between good tech work or lousy tech work ,..that’s why me and my company are here ,...yes we charge more then a stand alone tech ,...but we give my customers the guarantees I just mentioned . This tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas is a self proclaimed contractor ,..

so what made today’s job different then any other job he is contracted for ? He was salivating at the thought and couldn’t help himself from stealing my HARD EARNED BUSINESS CUSTOMER FOR HIMSELF ! I clearly , CLEARLY , told this tech Barry Wingard from Denison Texas that it would be me paying him ,..not my customer .....he stole my customer from me and had her pay him directly ,..in order for him to be able to steal my customer from me , or better said , to have my customer allow him to take her from me ,...he first had to find a way of badmouthing me,..otherwise my customer would not have gone,...so I ask all who work with Barry Wingard from Denison Texas to take into account that this person , if he stole a customer from me , he can later steal that or something else from you.

 Every tech who comes on here and calls us a scam has first stolen from us , or treated our customer less then they would treat their own,...and we then take issue with them and maybe write them up here on rip off report ,....AND THEN FILLS THEIR MOUTHS WITH THAT WORD SCAM. Because they have no other defense as to try and diminish us ....the company who is willing to share their leads and customers with them FREE OF CHARGE TO THEM ,... You know why they say scam ? Because they already go into our onsites with that bias perception , which is what leads them to steal from us in the first place ,...and then when they get caught they yell SCAM ! Thumbtack is bias ,...why would they side so quickly on the same day you stole our customer and BEFORE ever asking us or asking our version of events ??? That’s called BIAS. As far as your saying there are other techs on Facebook that claim not have gotten paid by us ,...YOUR D*** RIGHT !!!!!! We don’t pay techs who : 1) leave our customers house claiming to have completed work , and 2 hours later our customer is calling us saying that everything is once again not working ,...we ask tech to go back out to warranty his work since we have already paid him for his visit ,....tech might or might not go back out ,...if he doesny was have to come out of pocket and send a new tech to fix what first tech screwed up , and if he does go back out he wants to later charge us For what is MOST DEFINITELY CONSIDRED WARRANTY WORK ,....and yes ,...WE DONT PAY HIM OR 2) go onsite , work on customer for 2 hours , calls us at 2 hours to say they are done ,..we charge Customer for 2 hours , and then pay customer for 2 hours ,...and THEN TECH CALLS US SAYING BUT HE WAS REALLY ONSITE FOR 3 HOURS ,..and we owe him 1 more hour ,...NO ! WE DONT PAY TECH FOR THAT ! Or 3) when we find any evidence that tech tried to take our customer for himself , gave our customer their business card ,..told our customer to call them directly next time .....NO WE DO NOT PAY THAT TECH !! Everyone want to know why it’s rare to find anything bad online about us written by our customers ? Because our customers are all happy with us .....we fight the bad techs on their behalf ,...we make sure a tech doesn’t leave our customer with a half completed job , we make sure tech warranties their work , if a tech doesn’t Perfom good work WE DONT PAY HIM. So all you will find bad about us on the internet really , except for a few exceptions over the past long standing 10 years , All you will find bad mouthing us talking bad about us are online posts from LOUSY techs like this one ,.....you want to hear what our customers think of us ? Go to our websites " testimonials” page and you’ll hear real phone call recordings from many but still just a few of our THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of happy customers we’ve accumulated over the years ! Our customers know we go out to bat for them and when these lousy stand alone techs turn their phones off , we don’t ,...our number is always on and always active and we’re always open for business .....so we are always our customers protection against these lousy techs who might steal and cheat. Let me get back to this guy here ,.....LIES LIES LIES ,...we CLEARLY TOLD HIM he would be going to a company ( not ours ) to help with a server issue ,we gave him the person of contact there and we gave him instructions that HE WILL NOT BE PAID BY CONTACT BUT WILL INSTEAD BE PAID BY US ,...all of this was fleet and we told him this prior to his arrival. As you can see by the phone texts screen shot attachments below , that show the conversation between us and this tech,......tech was only there 40 minutes when he texts that he’s done ??? Really ? A server not configured correctly and your already done ? Ok well we said let’s give him the benifit of the doubt , we have a group of our company techs all in one chat room via the telegram app , they are some of our best techs , tried and proved ,....so whenever management ( me or other managers ) feels something’s not adding up with tech who have onsite , we ASK TECH TO DOWNLOAD THE TELEGRAM APP ON THEIR PHONE if they don’t already have it so they can enter our company group chat and my trusted techs can interrogate the onsite tech who I might be doubting and who management might feel hasn’t performed his work duties properly ,....THIS TECH WAS ABOUT TO BE ASKED ALL THE RIGHT QUESTIONS FROM MY COMPANY TECHS ,...and you know what he does ? He hangs up and never answers again ! My customer never answered her phone either ! CLASSIC CASE OF TECH STEALING CUSTOMER ! That’s where we stand , and as you can see by the back and forth texts , we were 100% ready to pay tech for the agreed amount ,....but he never again answered ! Instead I later find out from customers email THAT SHE PAID TECH DIRECTLY AND SUDDENLY MY CUSTOMER HAS BEEN TURNED AGAINST ME BY THIS TECH !! How fare is that ???? Not even a thank you from this tech for the FREE business customer MY HARD EARNED money got my company ! THEIVERY !! See attachments below

The indiviual that has reported me violated terms and agreement through Thumbtack. We are to deal with the clients directly and no third party. In no way did he advise he was a third party employer at the time the gig was set up. When the job was finished we played phone tag with the client that was needing service trying to complete the payment. He then wanted me to set up an account on Telegram in order to recieve payment. According to the agreements posted within Thumbtack we are only to take payment from the client themselves. If they would read the terms of agreements this would not have happened. At no time did I enter into an agreement with Geeks on Repair or get directly employed through any service agreement. 

According to their facebook page they have had issues with technicians not getting paid before. 

I also recieved multiple phone calls after the fact and later on that night which I ended up blocking. They even threatened to report me on this website, which again if you read the terms of reporting, you are to report first then advise the individual of reporting later or it is considered blackmail. I also have screen shots between the client and Geeks on Repair as well.
