ALL of their software is ACADEMIC software. They try to cover up the fact that it is academic software that they are selling. They try to write the description so you miss that it is academic software.
Everything is a "3 day sale" so you think you have a limited time to buy at that price..but that is not true as it is always that price.
If you want to buy the ACADEMIC versions they are selling you can find it for much less than half the cost ..just look on ebay you can find the same things for much cheaper.
You can find the academic versions of all their software online for more then half the cost of what they charge.

I just ordered some software from these guys. I had no problem at all knowing that it was academic software. It was pretty clear to me. All I had to do was read the copy. As far as I know (and I had academic software back in the mid-90's), the only difference is that academic software gives you a great price break - you don't lose anything in the software itself.
As far as those other really cheap prices elsewhere on the web are concerned, for most if not all of them you have to have proof that you are a student, faculty or academic administrator. Baseline's the only place I've found where this is not the case.
I've been very pleased both with price and service. They accidentally sent me Windows instead for Mac for part of my order but I had no problem exchanging it, even though I didn't realize the error until I'd opened the package.
It's my first time dealing with them, but I see no reason for them to be on rip-off report.
