This company will find every way to not pay the trucker they hire!
We delivered 5 loads for them. They only paid 3 of them and specifically said they would not pay for 2 of them! Their excuse was we sent the proof of delivery 2 days late. What a joke. Avoid dealing with these scumbags!
Especially Jose Arellano and Sam Spahic

The fact is that Basic failed to pay us for 2 of 5 loads, which we never agreed to.

the only truth to mr quinns accusations is that they did pull 5 loads and they did get paid for three, as agreed in email from there company. we contracted them to deliver five loads, three were delivered on time and two of them we were told delivered. Consignee claims they did not recieve loads, therefore we asked for proof of delivery. They did send us to proof in which the signatures did not match the first three loads. When we sent them to consingee they claimed no one with that name works there. So at this point we have proof the the bills were forged, which is illegal. After confronting them for days they finally delivered. During this issue, they neglected to return the containers which caused demurrage charges. Also somehow now detention time charges were added also. After all this they sent us the new proof of signatures and they did match the other three with the dates late and we confirmed delivery with consignee. At this point our customer asked us what we can do to comfort there customer for all the lying and late deliveries that stopped there production for five days. We went back and asked the trucker on email if we can do a discount of two loads to make up for the losses incurred. They agreed and we moved on and paid the three that were delivered. Then we recieved invoices which number one did not reflect the correct dates to match the deliveries, number two had added detention that was never added to the rate agreement, numner three added demurrage charges for the unreturned containers because they kept them out so long. In which we have proof from the rail that they had them out too long and overdue. Even with discount we lost the customer and all future revenues from that customer. We took a major loss. Months later Misses Quinn decided to demand the other invoices. We showed Misses Quinn all the proof and documents. Regardless of everything shown this woman decided to go to our former customers and consignees to demand payment. if anyone needs proof of all documents i have them and am willing to share them with anyone. weve been in business for 10 years and have a perfect reputation.
UPDATE ALSO
we found out that the last two loads were double brokered also. we found from there former employee the one that actually lied to us on behalf of misses quinn at the time of her employment there that she was instructed to lie and also told us the last two containers were double brokered, ILLEGAL ONCE AGAIN. so warning to all brokers, kiss your loads good bye by using this thief and unprofessional liar. Do your homework on them and youll find out all illegal activity they are doing. Misses Quinn will be reported to FMSCA for the double brokering freight. Hopefully they will be out of business, but bet on them reopening again and starting this all over. Hopefully with all complaints with the FMSCA will stop people like this.
