Bathroom Crafters ,Bathroom Crafters shoddy installation of shower, improper installation of drain, refusal to fix problem Lombard Illinois

On 9/18/06 we hired Bathroom Crafters to remodel our master bath. They did not start the job until November 06. We had them remove the exsisting bath tub, floor and install a new jaquzzi tub, put a shower where a closet was. We had them lay ceramic tile on the floor and surround the tub and shower walls with the same ceamic tile.

In March of 2009 after taking a shower, we noticed that our kitchen ceiling was leaking which is directly below the shower that Bathroom Crafters installed. After several calls to Bathroom Crafters, they first informed us that it had nothing to do with what they did. A few days later after several more calls to them they finally sent out a plumber, he stated that the pipe from the drain was istalled improper, we could see that it was on an angle and being forced to be supported by small pieces of board.

The plumber tore down a 2x2 section of the ceiling which was soaked with mold, he fixed the pipe and left. Several more calls to Bathroom Crafters to have them fix the hole in our ceiling. They refused stating that it was not their problem, and the reason it leaked was beacuse we stood in the shower.

Now here in April of 2009 we hire to have the hole fixed in our kitchen ceiling, being allergic to mold we had to have this done. When the new dry was being installed, we were informed that after the plumber had straighten the pipe it was now too long and would put pressure on our new drywall. It has only been 24 hours and already the new drywall is cracked exactly where the pipe from the shower drain is. We want our shower fixed correctly, compensated for our loss and I would like an apology from Bathroom Crafters.
