Baxter Mitchell and Associates claimed that they could recover a debt of 29,000.00 from a client that had stopped paying his account. They claimed that they would locate the members of the company and serve them with the appropriate paperwork to get them into small claims court so that a judgment would be passed down for the client to have to pay the money owed to us. Once we direct deposited the fee of 3000.00 into their account and sent us the original file of the client that owed us through UPS only, then they could start the process. We never heard from Baxter, Mitchell and Assoc. again. After repeated attempts we finally got someone to answer a phone call and said that he knew nothing of this company and the number we had was forwarded from another phone.
