Bay Area Equity Group occupies a swank office in a high rise. Their sales staff is smooth as silk. Their President very convincing. They were so incredibly good that I invested my life savings in their 15% ROI income property investments. They even manage the properties and guarantee your rents. No brainer, right? It would have all been great had I actually collected any rents. But alas, that was not to be.

What I was presented with in touched up photos and what I ended up with beared no resemblance. Properties were not rehabbed. In fact, they had never even set foot in these properties. There were no tenants in place. Congratulations, I am now a slum lord. And it's going to cost me thousands of dollars to make these properties livable.

Don't be fooled by these guys. It's tempting. It's intoxicating. But it's a big fat lie.
