On October of 2006 Bay Area Remodelers was contracted to build a Sun Room to my home. They were given a total of $13,796.00 for deposit and never did anything. I am an older woman with health issues and am out of my money,
Through out the years when they have been contacted they have been extremely rude and untruthful. Earlier in my contacting them (2007) they stated that they were having permit disputs in manatee county and that was the hold up. I have attempted to seek counsel but my funds are limited therefore I myself am trying to take care of this.
On just today April 11, 2011, my niece spoke with the president/owner himself Kevin McGinley (after being hung up on several times) and he stated that I canceled the contract myself....WOW. I have all of my documentations and there is NO letter of cancellation present.
This is a blantant case of Bay Area Remodelers frauding me of my monies. They never had any intentions of living up to their contract.
Please, this company is unethical and untruthful. Stay away from them at ANY cost.
