Do Not even bother with this company. Heres the deal: Youre desperate for a job right? Looking on craigslist, or in the paper, yeah? You will see an advertisement for a company that doesnt give any explination of who they are, what they do, or what the job entails. Only that they're an expanding company looking for 18-25 "guys and gals" to fill open positions, and that entry level management is available. they dont give an email, name, or anything just a phone number. You call this phone number and they set you up with a group interview, then they call you back the same day and say to come in the next day for a second interview, that it will be 2-3 hrs long, and to bring pen and paper. So you go to the interview. they tell you this rags to riches success story about the company's founder Larry Hahn, and they have you write pages and pages of notes. Then, they tell you that you got the job. You go home excited, tell your significant other about it... And then if he/she is suspicious and untrusting of everything like I was, your significant other digs into the internet a bit, and has to tell you that Larry Hahn is a conman who's been bouncing from state to state, and has even been taken to court.

Here is the run down, same thing Larry Hahn has done in Atlanta, Illinois, and Texas, and Now California (maybe even other states) * Puts a non specific ad in the paper / wanted listings for entry level management position open in expanding company * Group interviews people, promising $30-40k/yr salary and benefits * Calls back same day and invites you to second interview * Has no literature to give, makes you write down all notes in your own handwriting * Promises 6-8 weeks of paid training to teach you everything you need to know, and states that your training salary depends on how fast you progress * Promises to have your own store opened for you upon completion of training, where you will be the manager and have sales associates beneath you * Remains very vague and evasive about what kind of store, what product, and doesn't mention any stores they currently have open (because there are none)

THEN according to what I've read on the internet: You find out there is no $30-40k/yr salary, it's commission only You find out there is no store, that you're supposed to run around hawking things in parking lots etc You find out there are no benefits You find out that all that CEO Management aka WPI aka DAB Management aka Scentura is... Is a stupid scamming pyramid scheme Don't believe me? Google "CEO Management Hayward, CA" and read what comes up, you will see Larry Hahn mentioned as the CEO and founder, which is who my boyfriend was told about in his interview. THEN if you google Larry Hahn you'll learn about his most recent scams with his company called Scentura... And all of this reading, each scenario is pretty much the same from the recruitment, to the training, to the promises, and the end result. Do yourselves a favor, as a general rule dont apply to ANY job that A) states they're looking for more than one person, B) doesn't describe the job or anything about the company, and C) wants you to apply by phone only by R

TAKING ACTION AND GETTING AN OFFICE SHUT DOWN!

The life-blood of these offices is the classified ads. If their classifieds are no longer allowed in the newspapers the distributor will not be able to place their ads and the pyramid will collapse. They will be forced to close down shop and move to an area where the local papers have yet to catch on.

The first thing you have to do is write a letter or email to the newspaper classifieds as well as websites where these ads are placed. Be sure to keep it professional. If you live in a large metropolitan area this could take a lot of work so be patient and stick with it. Read other newspapers classifieds and search other job sites to find more of these ads and send letters/emails to them.

Before sending the letter it is important to include;

If the letter doesnt work, send another more stern letter. Then send letters to other news sources warning them of the misleading ads. This way they wont be able to advertise elsewhere as a back up plan.

Send multiple letters or emails if you have to.

You can find some sample letters in the thread below. They were posted by JD back in 2005. Just know the letters are a bit dated so be sure to make them as professional and up-to-date as possible. There are tons of websites that can give advice on writing good professional letters.

WOW!!

AUTHOR: papa perfume - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, March 29, 2010

You are a general Sherlock Holmes aren't you.  My name isn't  #1 Employee  it's Papa Perfume, but you can call me daddy!  I was just the first to rebuttal donkey!

If you mean "real job" by what it is that you do, sitting on the couch and waiting for a unemployment check a job then you're right we don't offer that.  You actually have to work here.  Yes we sell perfume, tons of it!!  Some Business to Business, some in parking lots, some to friends and family, and some other ways as well.  And we make a a*s load of money doing it.  And if someone is interested in a opportunity to run their own office all they have to do is complete a training program and they'll have their own office as well.

And the beauty of it is we live in America and capitalism is what this country has been built on so you can make any amount of money you want to in your own office.   Or you can just sit around like yourself and collect your "real check" of unemployment until that runs out and then you're just another waste case.  But I wish you good luck anyways

Good Luck Blow-outs

FIRST.OF.ALL.? isn't it funny that your name is "number one employee" hmmm i wonder if that could have any connection to your response defending  your beloved company that has tricked and deceived lots of people who thought they were getting a REAL job that offered a REAL CHECK at the end of the week.

second of all, that post was a post i saw on Google LOOK IT UP CEO MANAGEMENT IN HAYWARD CA since I'm so uneducated i thought i would give credit to the girl who wrote it because the EXACT SAME THING HAPPEN TO ME so stop brown nosing and acting like what we've experienced is a lie.

Good Luck

The name here is "pissed offed."

Do I really need to comment on how uneducated these people are anymore?  What's really funny here is it's the guy's girlfriend posting here.  He didn't even have the balls to do it himself.  And her boyfriend is still unemployed..........  good job girl.

Larry Hahn did not interview this person, Larry Hahn did not hire this person, and Larry Hahn does not jump from state to state.  Larry Hahn is the founder of Scentura Creations.  He gives opportunities to people that wouldn't other wise have a opportunity to be in business for them selfs.

And there are no "stores" they are offices and there are offices I believe in all 50 states.  And any manager that makes less then $40,000 in their own office of the length of a calendar year is just lazy.  And anyone not willing to go through about 90 days of training for a opportunity like this deserves to be unemployed.  That's my opinion.

Good Luck blow-outs and best wishes to all.
