I paid the $6 using Citibank online payment service to pay the Golden Gate toll on time. But I recieved a 'toll evaion' notice demanding additional $25. I paid by credit card this time for $31 and wrote a letter explaining that I did pay on time and should be credited back the $25. Three months later, I received a check of $6 dated back in 5/14. When I deposited the check into my account ealier this month I was charged another $18 by my bank because the check was stamped wtih 'stop payment'. So I was out $49 dollars for crossing the golden gate bridge ONCE. I tired calling but talking to a human is not one of the options. I tired the web site, again, contact us is not an option neither. We need some accountability in this governement agencies rather than allowing them to suck us dry and basically operated as a monopoly
