i hope if people read this website the people at the bbb can not be trusted at all. they will also side for the business not the consumers because the business also paying the people at works at the bbb off to go in their favor like kevin trudeau said the guy who wrote the book natural cures they don't want you to know about it is all about the money and the rights of the business . bbb of central of indiana is a corrupt organization just like the business that lies to them and that the bbb covers up for.

I can attest the BBB is a wast of time for the consumer. I filed a report about a computer repaior business in Smitfield, NC and the BBB was very obviously ont the side of the business. The BBB of Raleigh was the responding BBB. The business owner replied to my report with outright lies and the BBB refused to post any complaint. What good ar they to the consumer if they ignore complaints and do not let others hear the complaint filed by the consumer. Incidently, the computer business in question is now out of business. Could not have happened to a more undeserving people.

I don't know, nor do I care about the specifics of your complaint. However, I want to clear up a common misconception about the BBB (no I am not an employee). The BBB has no authoritative power over any business. Their main purpose is as a mediator between consumers and businesses. When a complaint is received, the BBB notifies the offending business and requests a response within 5-7 days. Once the response is received, the complainant has the option of disputing by entering a response, accepting the information given by the business or not responding at all. In any case, no matter what the offending business does (response or no) all the BBB can do is note the complaint and apply a letter grade to the business. If a business is a member of the BBB, the rating could affect their standing within the community. But more often than not, businesses are not a member so they really don't care either way. And to be perfectly honest, even if the company responds with "F*CK OFF!", the BBB is just happy that a response was received.
My suggestion to you is that if your issue has to do with consumer abuse, criminal activity or otherwise, you should contact your state's attorney general's office. If a law was broken they will most likely help you to find a resolution.
Good luck.
