I left my money in Bank of the BuckHead at 3920 Piedmont Road, Atlanta, GA, USA in 1998 in a CD and Checking Account. I went overseas to India for four years.
The Bank of Buckhead became BB&T. I never received timely reporting on it, nor was I advised on the status of my CD and checking account. I had to do a lot of 'chasing', 'calling from overseas' and writing letters. Finally, I began receiving my statements.
Now, after I moved to Canada, I asked for my money to be wired from there to my Canadian account. Needless to say, I had to contact them multiple times by email, fax, letter for it. I still have not gotten a statement-of-closure nor a clear explanation of the bank paying me "interest", the "fees they charges me", nor a clear explanation on how my money never "grew" as per their promises to me!
I have sent multiple emails and letters to the Branch Head and Vice-President Ron Altman. He never responds to either one.
Below is the last email to which also they have not bothered to reply. Ron Altman says- contact the Personal Banking Assistance- Sybil Payne. Sybil Payne says - contact Diane Chambers. Diane Chambers never responds.
********
Could you please provide me an IMMEDIATE response to the email request below?
I have not received any reply from
DChambers@BBandT.com nor
Sybil.Payne@BBandT.com
Is there a reason for not responding to it?

Stop giving them a chance to stall longer!!!! SUE THEM IN COURT!!!!

Stop giving BB&T any more time to deal with something that should have taken a mere few minutes!!! BB&T employees seem to have a "God" complex where they think they can do as they please and we the consumers have to take what they dish out!!! WRONG!!! Sue them in court and see the thousands that follow suit!
