I was attending this school in 1998/99 with the understanding that the school would help me find a better job so I went for it. The sad truth is that after I graduated from the program I was not givin any real hep to find a job and they kept my diploma. They refused to give it to me till I paid off my loan. The result was I still ended up in a minimum wadge job that had nothing to do with my computer skills at all, and I found that job on my own. Needless to say that the minimum wadge job was not enough to pay off the loan and to this day I still owe on the now defaulted loan. I am just now finding out about the law suite against the school. If I had known sooner, I would have loved to be a part of the law suite. If it is not too late, can I still get involved in the law suite? Can someone contact me please and let me know what I can do about this. I too was and still am very poor and can not afford to pay off the loan that I got. Now if I want to go back to any other school, they will not approve me for any more loans because I still owe on the BCTI school loan. This is a total rip off and wish I had never signed up with these people.

Hi,
I, too, am stuck with a federal loan debt from this scam school and missed joining the lawsuit. I did a lot of research on DOE's website and they have this "Borrower's defense loan forgiveness" option available. They are still working on the specifics, but you can send an email requesting for this loan forgiveness. Please check it out, studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/borrower-defense#help or google "Borrower Defense to Repayment."
Good luck!
