I'm writing this to let everyone know that there is a company out there that is not taking reasonability for their contract that they have with consumers.
Her e is my story; on 2/6/08 I was hit by a drunk driver that totaled my car. My Insurance Company took care of their part within 10 days and paid off what they had to. However, I like many others had a gap policy to cover just these things. I filed the claim on 2/12/08 and to this day it is still not answered.
I first was dealing with Rick Collins from 3/08 thru 10/08, during this time I left 26 messages for Mr. Collins with not one return call. On 11/3/08 I could not take this any more so I escalated my issue to JJ Haveakotte, on 11/3/08 Mr. Haveakotte advised me that he will be handling this issue and that he will be getting back to me within the next few days. So time goes on and it is now 11/10 with still no call, I called Mr. Haveakotte with no answer so I left him a message and again on 11/17 no reply so I left him another message.
Over the next 30 days I continued to call with no answers. On 1/20/09 I finally was put in contact with Tim Davis, so on 1/20 I left Mr. Davis a message and you guessed it no return call. I did the same on 2/02. Finally on 2/24 I got a hold of Mr. Davis and during this call there were a lot of empty promises made from Mr. Davis. So between 2/24 and 3/23 I left 10 Messages for Mr. Davis with a return call finally coming today on 3/23 from Mr. Davis.
During the call Mr. Davis said the following; I cannot believe that it has taken this long to take care of this issue. I agreed with him, and asked what are we going to do about this? Mr. Davis said that he was going to look into the issue and call me right back. It has now been 6 hours from that call and I'm sure by now he has gone home for the day.
Again we trust people to do the right thing and handle what needs to be taken care of and still we are disappointed. This is my story and I'm going to do whatever it takes to put an end to Beacon Industries Worldwide ridiculous business practices.
