Imagine my surprise this morning to find out I had a pending debit of $99.95 in my checking account.  My bank provided me with a phone number for the company issuing the debit, so I called it, and found out that I had won a "gift" for taking a survey and all I had to pay was a shipping & handling fee.  That fee was only supposed to be $3.95 (about that amount).

 When I called the company, Beaute Wrinkle Reducer, they explained that since I had not called them in a "14-day trial period" they were charging me for the wrinkle reducer and creme.  The fee I am being charged is $99.95.

 I told the gentleman that I didn't realize there was a trial period... or a fee for $99.95.  I told him that I am 70 years old and am on a fixed income, and can't afford that fee, and I would never even consider buying skin care/makup for that amount!  I said I can't pay it, and since it was still in Pending mode with the bank, could he just refund my money.  He said no, that it was too late.  

Right now I have the funds to cover it, but since it was not figured into my monthly budget, other things I needed to buy would have to be on hold... and this includes food.

 Since I did some research on the company, I found that the exact same thing had happened to other people.  And everyone said to let other people know to not buy into this product because it is a scam.  At this point, the $99.95 is in Pending mode, but at any time it could clear.  I am stuck with that fee.  I have run out of options on what to do about it.  I am going to let as much of the world know about this as I can and hope that nobody else has to go through what I have.
