I ordered prefinished hardwood flooring in August 0f 2002. I paid for by check onn 9-16-02 $5,167.10. I was told floor should ship within 4-6 weeks. I called several times in October and always got a different answer. Finally by mid November I decided to cancel my order since I never got my product.
Their website said a full refund within 30 days of receipt of product. As a reminder, I never got the product. I spoke with Neil Martin who is the owner. He was quite rude and arrogant. He said he would mail me a check 12-15-02.
HA! As of today, I still have no check. Emails go unanswered as well as calls. Neal Martin has stolen my money and lies right to you. He has moved his company from New York to Suwannee Georgia. He also works with another website, www.earthfloor.com. In July of 2002, ATtorney General Eliot Spitzer of New York obtained a restraining order against BeaverHome. A lawsuite was filed and Beaver Home was charged with repeated and persistent fraud and deceptive business practices. (www.oag.state.ny.us/press/2002.

I have still not received my refund from Neal Martin

As of 3-17-03, I have still not received my refund from Neal Martin. I have been getting the same old story....the check's good to go. The Office of Consumer Affairs in Georgia is now investigating them. Any new victims of Neal MArtin need to contact that office.
