BEHR Products Horrible Company Product......BEHR DeckOver not guaranteed for destruction cause by product!! $4000 Deck destroyed by product. Santa Ana California

Purchased $500 of BEHR Premium Texture DeckOver from Home Depot to cover a freshly stripped deck. Used Behr deck stripped and Behr Deck prep as demanded by the instructions for proper adhesion. This product didnt make it one year before peeling. Behr's repsonse was to ship 2 gallons and re apply. That then again peeled the next year. Drastic popping and cracking noises throughout the winter caused by moisture being trapped under the product and thus after 5 years the deck is destroyed and riddled with rotted wood and cracked everywhere. The product has all but completely peeled off. This company obviously never tested it for winter climates.

They have been noticfied and sent photos for over 2 years trying to get some sort of answer. Home Depot is as useless as the product they carry. Neither one want to solve a problem caused by their preferred and promoted products.
