Bekins was hired to move my possessions and they did not follow any reputable guidelines, the local company did not report the move to the home office.

I have $8000 in damages and missing goods. They repacked boxes after they had been loaded on the truck, removed items and put another persons load on the truck as well.

The delivery was late. One of the unloaders was challenged and urinated on the rug in the living room.

The home office will not respond to any claim or correspondance referring it to the local office who does the same. They will not even respond to my attorney.

There were pieces of metal on the truck when it arrived (I assume to make the load heavier) They did not crate items for which I paid for crates.

Items were not packed but thrown into boxes. They padded the boxes by packing trash and piles of newspapers again the make the load heavier.

In short they did not do what they were paid for, will not send an adjuster for the insurance I paid for, and will not even respond to the attorney. I guess I will have to wait for the court date to have them resolve my problem now 1.5 years old.

Avoid BEKINS or EASTERN MOVING and STORAGE at all costs.

I only had two broken glasses of the things that I packed and they were in boxes Bekins destroyed.
