Criminal Behavior made legal by Insurance Bel Air Direct delay repairs not what they advertise

I filled a report with you on 8/17/00 and it is just a up date of what had happened to us after hiring a public adjuster in the area he Mr. Judson Lee who was to be paid 10% of the amount we would be getting from our claim.

Well our claim was in the cost estimented for repairs to the sum of $60.000 and the insurance company only wanted to pay $10.000 was there offer to us. Judson Lee went to the Mortgage company and worked out a deal that we pay them some of this money as they were primary mortgage lenders and their name was on our contract mortgage papers.

The deal was we had to pay them $15.000 and the second mortgage holder which were the privious owner pay them $10.000 and we had to pay a lawier $3000.00 and Mr. Judson Lee was to be paid $3000.00 so we were left with very little by the time this Judson Lee got through making deals on our money. On top of all this man held our money for months and cost us more money to fight back and fourth with the lawier to get this settled and charging us fee's every week for phone calls etc. Even causing us to have to be threatened by this lawier with horrassment threats as we kept calling to find out where our money is and why they were not speeding up and getting the signatures that this insurance company did not make out the cheque to us but had everyones name including mortgage companies name on the cheque so several people had to sign off the cheque before it could be distributed.

Then we find out this Judson Lee Public adjuster tried to cash it and deposit a cheque without his name on it. The bank refused to let him cash it so he put it in a general trust account refusing to turn it over to our lawier. So more delays. Then he cashed it and took more money than he was agreed so we are having to take him to small claims court for the balance.

Our lawier should have gone after this we were his clients and he let this guy that told us this lawier was a friend of his. This lawier refuse to do anything. We are still waiting for the paper of discharging and payments to these mortgage companies and his bill.

Bel Air Direct Insurance Company caused all this added expences and loss of work and running around for this Adjuster from Crawford insurance Company that Bel Air Direct hired to give us a hard time in the first place and wanted to cheat us out of getting the repairs done by professional painter and carpenters ect.

I feel we have been riped of not only once but several time by this Judson Lee and all the people that took our money from our claim and are not letting us get our house professionally repaired. We are left with so little that we can't ever think to do the work never mind buy the supply's needed to do the work. The mortgage burea of Canada would not help and neither would our MP in the area and nor would the Customer Relation Consumer Affairs they said that the mortgage company can take how ever much they want from this claim as they are the lenders. Yet when we asked them to help us fight the insurance company they refused.

The government agencies incharge of regulating this mortgage companies refused to do anything News Papers get so many calls they said they can't get involved if this government is allowing these criminal acts to happen and will not take responsiblilty for business and there ethic's.

The government offices we pay to regulate business are not working yet we keep paying there wages. Why ?? Well I must warn people that this is only the worst insurance company and the company it hires to do there work like Crawford Insurance Company out of London Ontario and there employee's are very cunning and sly. White Collar criminals are everywhere and I will not stand for this abuse of laws that this government is not enforcing insurance companies to stand by there policies and protecting the rights of the citizens in Canada against this type of insidences from occuring and keeping people poor so that they can not fight this with a lawier and use our legal system against these criminal mega billion dollar insurance lawiers.

Taxing people unfairly to keep people from having any large amounts of money to fighting and having the right to fight this unfair system. That in itself is criminal, legalized taxing and increasing it on the majority of working class like us we are truck drivers and had no raises to speak of in 25 years.

Unfair increasing of taxes though. Who is running this place? Big Business while families suffer with rules, rules and more rules. This is corrupt government in a big way.
